Almost empty. 🫤
I'm going to miss this space where so many paws walked and where a handful came to have their last spa day 🥹
I hope it was as relaxing for the pups as it was for me.
Working for myself was the best.
All the other salons I worked in were loud, stressful and fast paced making it harder on the dogs usually and for me as well.
I had the BEST clients.

The time has come🤗
I really dread making this post for one reason only... my clients are THE BEST!

I see so many posts from my fellow groomers that they have bad clients or that their clients are not understanding when something comes up such as an illness or something to do with their children.
You guys have ALWAYS been the most understanding and I am extremely thankful for that!

As a child, I saw my dad run his own appliance business for several years and I always wanted to be a business owner.

After 8 years of working for other grooming salons, I finally went out on my own and opened up in 2023 with the help of my husband! He played a massive part in making this happen!

We have recently received an offer on our property and accepted it. We have a very fast closing date (in 3 weeks) so we are on a time crunch to get things rolling.
This Monday, August 4th will be my last day grooming so that we have time to pack, clean, and transition into a new place!

Don't worry!!!! I have SEVERAL phenomenal recommendations in the area! Each of them have their own strengths and weaknesses.

Just a reminder: grooming is not a regulated industry in the state of Texas. This means that just anyone can grab tools from Amazon and call them selves a groomer with no education.
I am a big fan of safety, knowledge, continuing education, and doing things the right way, so I will only be recommending those that I thoroughly would trust with my own child and pupper!

I will also have a few recommendations for boarding kennels in the area!!!

I want to say one more time how much I appreciate all of you and of course your babies 🐶!!! I'm going to miss them all so much but I know they will go into caring hands!

Goodmorning everyone!!!

Many of you have already noticed the sign out front and have started to ask questions, so I figured I would make a post!

Due to personal reasons, we have decided to listed our property! It was officially on the market exactly one month ago.

I am not accepting new clients, I am slowing down on grooming, and am working on transitioning out of the grooming industry. I have been in it for 10 years and it is time for a change for me!

I am extremely grateful for all of my amazing clients that have trusted me since I opened in February 2023. Owning my own business was always a dream of mine. I wanted to follow in my dad's footsteps. He owned his own appliance business for several years.

For now, I will continue with my schedule as is, but as soon as we get an acceptable offer, I will have to stop immediately so we can figure out our next steps. Due to road work and house showing, I may have to suddenly move some appointments around last minute and I apologize in advance. It's been a mess lately!

I have SEVERAL phenomenal references for grooming and boarding that I will be listing in another post. The groomers of Johnson County are a close knit small group and we all know each others' strengths and weaknesses and try to help each other and get the right groomer for the right clients. We know that some dogs do better with certain people. Dogs are smart and they like who they like 😊

I want to say again, thank you a million times for helping my dream come true, even if just for a short time 🫶🐾

I took on a few new ones in the last few weeks and am now full.
I am NOT accepting new grooming clients at the moment!

(Nail trims are always easy to squeeze in and I can continue to accept new nail trim clients 😊)
