2021 AQHA Buckskin Filly, SS Shes A Princess “Pippy”

Located Junction City, KS

Pippy is available and ready to start your way. Easy to catch, stands for farrier, stands for bathing, loads in the trailer, and up to date on vaccinations including Coggins. Has been through tarps, small swimming pool (imitation water crossings), and over bridges. Pippy has been saddled twice and did great. She stands at 14 HH now, I expect her to be at least 15 HH when she’s done growing. Pippy has correct confirmation and will be more ranch horse size, but is still quick and catty. Her maternal grandsire, Its Just About Me has NCHA LTE over 300K. The rest of the names on her papers, are older cutting and ranch horse lines. I picked her out due to her papers, confirmation, and color, her mind has been an added bonus. Due having a newborn human and a 4 year old filly behind in training, I have made the decision to offer her to someone who has the time to start one right.

I'd like to thank Riverfront Ranch for allowing my sister and I the opportunity to sell horses for them via Facebook. We started this journey back in 2016. I'm thankful to Deryl and Scott for letting me come out multiple times a year to take pictures and learn about the history of the ranch and pedigrees. They are proof that this crazy Facebook thing works.
To put it in perspective we started the year with 18 fillies and 21 stud colts, with a total of 39 in the 2021 foal crop. I posted them January 1st as available, as of today we are down to 4 fillies.
My sister and I have a personal goal to clear the pens prior to weaning the next year's crop, we might just make it this year.
Granted it helps to have repeat buyers and a market that is in the horse industry's favor, but I can't believe we've sold 35 yearlings and 16 older horses. It's been wild, but thank you so much ❤️

Leads well, bathes, knows some lunging, can pick up and trim front feet. Back feet are a work in progress, but she's never taken a lame step. Not dangerous, just frightened. She has scars from I believe a previous skin issue.
Hard to catch in pasture.
Has an allergy to something in the pasture. When kept on dry lot she does great.
Not broke to ride or drive, but didn't mind the saddle pad tied on as a mock saddle.

Love all of this! She used to kick out when water touched her back legs. Third time having a bath and she's so much more relaxed ☺️
So relaxed that she even plays in it a bit at the end of the video.

I wasn't planning on working with the pony, so I improvised. I was able to fly spray her without her moving a muscle. I also, think she's feeling great, she runs everywhere she's going 🤣

Picked up both back feet tonight without using the rope by the end of our short session. She's becoming more personable. When the farrier was here last weekend, he was able to trim her fronts, so hopefully next time he'll be able to trim her back feet as well.

Cute little filly with fancy papers. Bred to have all the right moves! I personally have a half sister and it's the best horse I've ever bought. Should make one heck of a cow horse, rope horse, and/or ranch horse. The sky is the limit with this one.

Gentle on the ground, has grown up around a multitude of farm animals. Easy to catch, load, tie, trim, etc.
Just had a 60 day refresher with the trainer. Trainer thinks he'd make a great heel, breakaway, and eventually a kid's horse.
He's grade, but his sire is It's Just About Me, LTE over $300,000 NCHA.
Nice geldings are hard to find right now, this one is cute and easy to be around. Don't miss out!

Very appreciative of Autumn for making me get creative. Having me touch her back feet while picking them up, was just too much pressure and she'd kick out. We had to revert to a rope, then I'd pet her leg while lifted with the rope. By the end, I was able to lift her back feet for just a second without her kicking out. Slowly, but surely she's going to end up getting her feet trimmed!
It's taken a long time for me to realize if something isn't working, break it down to smaller steps and reward huge tries. Grateful for those horses (or ponies) that make you think! ❤️

I have a million things to do a day and writing the right ad, weeding through tire-kickers, posting all the right places, answering absurd questions, reposting with frequency, and so forth, wasn't on the horizon for me. Morgan took a nice mare, wrote a nice yet accurate summary of her and worked so hard to get her in front of all the right people. My precious time was saved by only being put into contact with serious inquiries. The mare sold, in what I consider a reasonable time for her price point and went further than my reach could have ever sent her. The buyer seems thrilled as well. Professional, courteous, knowledge and saves so much time with excellent results. From here on out, my horses will be posted through Morgan. Well worth the money, I promise!!

I'm selling my roping saddle. It's a Teskey's 16 in. Fits my quarter horses well, just found something that fits better for what I want to pursue. I don't rope and it needs to go to a roper. Back cinch included. Asking $1500. No shipping. Currently in Oklahoma, but headed home to Kansas today.
