Opening Weekend is here! We are excited for another successful season!

Our whitetail prices remained the same for this year. However, we have changed a few prices here and there, as well as made some changes to our policy.

Make sure to grab one of our brochures at the local processors, feed stores, or even stop by the shop.

We will also be charging more this year for spare capes, and capes that need major repairs.

I’ve added pictures of our brochure, a picture that shows where to cut for a shoulder mount, info on the shipping company that we use, as well as pictures of the basic shoulder mount forms available.

Meet Ranger! He is an American Hunt Terrior. He comes from a great bloodline of great tracking dogs. Ranger’s dad is “Cheeto The Tracking Dog”, who has his own page on Instagram.

I am excited to add Ranger to our tracking team this year.

After you kill the trophy exotic of your choice, call us at Crosshairs Taxidermy for all of your taxidermy needs. We will drive to the ranch to pick up your animal and transport it to our shop free of cost.

One year ago today, Angel joined our team here at Crosshairs. We couldn’t be happier with the job he has done for us behind the scenes. There’s not a mount that comes through our shop that he doesn’t have his hands on at some point. He is the reason that we are able to keep our quick turn around time. Angel has done anything and everything we ask him to do, and more. Thanks buddy for a great year, and all you do for us here at Crosshairs!

2023… Our best year yet! Thank you to all of our very loyal customers, our processing places all over the hill country that send us business, and our 2 great employees that make it easy on Ashton and I everyday.

This business started in a garage in 2017, grew a little bit year after year.. took in 87 animals in 2020, 627 animals last year, and a record setting 1,080 total projects in 2023… with over 500 of those coming in the last couple of months since opening weekend of hunting season! Yes our turn around is still way less than a year!
