Half the height of her brothers, Miss Ellie's a mystery! We have no idea who Ellie's parents are but we are curious to see what this little lady will look like as an adult. Destined to be darling no matter her size, she really has the sweetest, most demure personality. Ellie takes the trophy for "snuggl-iest bug" 🥰 * 5 month old female * Very affectionate, loves to snuggle * Incredibly submissive, & shy * Curious, playful and has the cutest little prance Truth is Ellie has not found the right home in part due to her sweet and shy nature. Louie! A little bit confused, Louie is a 10 month old looking for someone willing to love him forever and never let him go. Uncertain of his history, this sweet and adorable guy arrived at DCHS with an open heart and an incredible demeaner. Louie is a playful and loving "kid" who starts off just a bit shy. Tucking his tail and curling into himself... he is just begging for a little tenderness. * Housetraining and Crate training unknown but generally speaking he keeps his space pretty clean * LOVES to walk, run, play, jog, and SLEEP (big naps out of this guy) * Ready to make all sorts of friends (2 & 4 legged) * Small guy, Louie only stands 18-20 inches tall and weighs 32lbs! Woody is the rootinest tootinest cowboy, and he's hoping to be part of your story! Fun as your favorite childhood toy, Woody is ready to bring some "playtime" to your life. A young cat packed full of energy and curiosity, Woody has been with DCHS since August 20th! Having arrived in need of vetting and healing, staff worked on getting this guy in tip top shape for his new home. You won't catch Bandit without an emotional support toy! We all need a little support sometimes. Bandit needs the emotional support from his toy and you need emotional support from Bandit.😉 Being the best boy around willmake it very easy for this guy to blend right into your home. * 6-year-old 48lbs, Mixed Breed * Has the best smile * Loves to go for walks and walks great (yes his toy goes with him) * Will never say no to butt scratches * Does great with other animals * Wonderful with kids * Enjoys car rides * Fully house trained * Crate trained This guy truly is a great catch that you don't want to miss out on. Molly! More than ready to spend her days loyal and in love with you, Molly is looking for an easy going life. She LOVES to snuggle and is super affectionate with her people, but not with other animals at all. Needing to be an only pet, Molly does not get along with cats or dogs and it's made finding a home difficult for our saddest shelter resident. * 6 year old, female Lab mix * Housetrained & Crate trained; has been kenneled up to 14 hours 😞 * Toy shredder: loves to rip apart her stuffies * Loves car rides, enjoys walks, and a BIG fan of being snuggled/hugged * Afraid of fireworks, thunderstorms, and the vet 🫣 * Must be an only pet ~ Not overly reactive to other animals, dislikes them in her home and space This sweet potato is a little thick, currently weighing 81lbs. Her stature makes her incredibly huggable, but Miss Molly has been struggling.. Can you show her true love? Her sweet soul is just hoping to feel like she belongs. Bailey is our official toy tester. We think they all might have passed the test! Bailey is a GORGEOUS 3 year old Pittie mix, but she could be confused with the ☀️itself- She brightens the room, has energy for days, and ready to be the light of your life 💛 Bailey is a playful girl and is ready to find the right home to include her in their games. Because she has a big bossy girl personality, she does great with larger 4 legged friends who match her energy. * Housetrained and crate trained * Does display some resource guarding * Active girl looking for an active adopter * Expressive and outgoing, Wants to meet everyone Bailey is hoping for a home that enjoys "doing" just as much as she does, and has the time to do so.. Walk? yep. Run? yep. Fetch? sure thing. Car ride? why not? Bailey doesn't care much about what it is, along as she is doing it with you. Xena couldn't help but to try out all the toys! Xena is starting to go a little crazy being stuck in this loud and busy place for so long. This girl is a little spitfire just full of angst and love. We just know with a little bit of love, training, and stabillty she is sure to make the best companion. * 2-year-old 35lbs, Mixed Breed * Full to the brim of love and energy * Loves to play! * Incredibly intelligent, sincere, and loyal ~ Just needs a little bit of guidance & commitment * Working on house training * Crate trained * Must be the only pet in the home After looking for months for a home to foster Xena, DCHS is switching gears and begging. They may be wobbly but darn if they aren’t the cutest! Ginger🐈 and Tipsy🐈‍⬛ just made their way back from foster and are very ready to brighten up your life! They’re very happy 3-month-old DSH. As you can tell from the video they’re a bit more wobbly than your average kitten. These sweet babies have Wobbly Cat Syndrome. Wobbly cat syndrome, also known as cerebellar hypoplasia (CH), is a rare neurological disorder that affects a cat's balance and coordination. As you can tell being a little off balance doesn’t slow these too down at all! They’re very ready to enjoy a normal and happy life in a home with you.
