Bandit
You won't catch Bandit without an emotional support toy!
We all need a little support sometimes. Bandit needs the emotional support from his toy and you need emotional support from Bandit.😉 Being the best boy around willmake it very easy for this guy to blend right into your home.

Molly!
More than ready to spend her days loyal and in love with you, Molly is looking for an easy going life. She LOVES to snuggle and is super affectionate with her people, but not with other animals at all. Needing to be an only pet, Molly does not get along with cats or dogs and it's made finding a home difficult for our saddest shelter resident.
* 6 year old, female Lab mix
* Housetrained & Crate trained; has been kenneled up to 14 hours 😞
* Toy shredder: loves to rip apart her stuffies
* Loves car rides, enjoys walks, and a BIG fan of being snuggled/hugged

Bailey is our official toy tester. We think they all might have passed the test!
Bailey is a GORGEOUS 3 year old Pittie mix, but she could be confused with the ☀️itself- She brightens the room, has energy for days, and ready to be the light of your life 💛 Bailey is a playful girl and is ready to find the right home to include her in their games. Because she has a big bossy girl personality, she does great with larger 4 legged friends who match her energy.

* Active girl looking for an active adopter
* Expressive and outgoing, Wants to meet everyone
Bailey is hoping for a home that enjoys "doing" just as much as she does, and has the time to do so.. Walk? yep. Run? yep. Fetch? sure thing. Car ride? why not? Bailey doesn't care much about what it is, along as she is doing it with you.

Xena
Xena couldn't help but to try out all the toys!
Xena is starting to go a little crazy being stuck in this loud and busy place for so long. This girl is a little spitfire just full of angst and love. Waiting for the right home an dperson tocome along to help her flourish into her best self. We just know with a little bit of love, training, and stabillty she is sure to make the best companion.

After looking for months for a home to foster Xena, DCHS is switching gears and begging. For those without pets, that are looking to add a pup, please consider this absolutely amazing dog, Xena just needs one chance and she can finally go home.

They may be wobbly but darn if they aren’t the cutest!
Ginger🐈 and Tipsy🐈⬛ just made their way back from foster and are very ready to brighten up your life! They’re very happy 3-month-old DSH.
As you can tell from the video they’re a bit more wobbly than your average kitten.
These sweet babies have Wobbly Cat Syndrome.
Wobbly cat syndrome, also known as cerebellar hypoplasia (CH), is a rare neurological disorder that affects a cat's balance and coordination.
As you can tell being a little off balance doesn’t slow these too down at all! They’re very ready to enjoy a normal and happy life in a home with you.

Dipper
Every day is a dippity doo da day with Dipper in your life!
Just a sweet and affectionate goofball, Dipper wakes up every morning in a a GREAT mood. He loves to run outside and often gets the case of the zoomies, he was born ready to play! With a higher energy level, he really enjoys hanging out with the outdoorsy, playful and adventurous types.
* 2 years old, male mixed breed
* Good with dogs of all sizes
* Loves car rides, long walks, and heading out on leash
* Fully Housetrained and crate trained
* Displays some resource guarding, must be fed separately
* Inexperienced with cats
Dipper loves people and strives to be a constant loyal companion. It's hard not to fall in love with those icy blue eyes, especially when he looks at you like you hung the moon. Dipper is ready to be part of your constellation!

Duke & Dennis
Duke & Dennis!
These two are very handsome Lab mixes looking for a place they can call home. At 2 years old, They are starting over and have high hopes for the future. With lots of enthusiasm for life and high intelligence, Duke and Dennis make for the perfect companions. After spending sometime playing together, these boys ready to take up half the couch cuddling with you!

* Crate trained but do well out of the crate
* Smarty pants, both know how to sit, shake, and lay down
* Enjoy walks together but man do they move! These guys could pull a sled!
* Huge fan of head and butt scratches, doing zoomies
* Did fine living with cats but like to chase

Without knowing their exact history, one thing is very clear with these two... they make a great duo. These two boys are brothers, besties and two peas in a pod. Suffering from some separation anxiety, and looking for stability, are you able to provide two big boys with a happily ever after?

Bailey
Santa already made his stop at the shelter, and oh what fun was had!
Christmas arrived at DCHS for the dogs thanks to a generous donation and Bailey LOVED checking out what Santa brought for her. Every year the animals are thought of, and their holidays are often made magical, thanks to amazing supporters, volunteers and community members.
This year staff had enough gifts for every dog. While there were certainly a couple of "Scrooges" who didn't get the concept, for Bailey and most of the dogs opening gifts is the best part of spending the coldest holiday in a shelter.
Thank you, from the bottom of our hearts, for the continued generosity displayed to the animals. Merry Christmas!!

Roxie is stuck...
This affectionate and loving lady is having a hard time finding her forever home. Roxie LOVES to snuggle, be petted and cuddled.. all she wants is a little family of her own to hang out on the couch with. A Boxer mix she does have one interesting quirk: tires... especially moving ones. Unfortunately, this little quirk has landed her in search yet again for her happily ever after.
* Housetrained and crate trained, would love a home with someone home most of the time
* Plenty of life to her but might do best in a home without a ton of company and activity
* LOVES to cuddle and will need an adopter ready for lovin'
* Gets the zoomies, and would love a place to let loose sometimes, shaking things up a bit

This beautiful 5.5 year old Boxer Mix has the sweetest, and subtly goofy, personality! With a fairly scary beginning to her rescue journey, this girl's got the marks to prove she is not giving up until she has her happy ending. Her ashy face hints at a wisdom beyond her years and this smart girls ready to prove shes worth it.
