I’m going to brag about myself and this horse for a minute. The first time I went and watched this horse go, about a year and a half ago she was literally feral at her home barn. She had no idea how to keep all 4 feet on the ground, she would not go in the arena, and when we finally got her in the arena she just wanted to run away, we jumped her over two jumps TWO & I said I need her, my mentor at the time looked at me like I was a psychopath but I knew I was not, & she was just in the wrong hands, long story short we finally got them to agree to a price and I bought her. We get her home and she is terrified of life, & once you got on her you would not know which way she was going to go up down left right she was in fight or flight mode 24/7. I never gave up on this horse and I LISTENED to her. A year and half later she is jumping around on the derby field & having fun doing it!
This is my working student (13 years old) riding her today in the jump arena ( scary arena for cici) & this is how she came out, happy not worried and ready to play! She’s now teaching a kid the jumper ropes and then going and showing on the weekends with her Pro rider & having clear round after clear 🦄🥰

The pony who started it all! The queen, the legend lovebug! She unfortunately was layed to rest today at 26 years old. This pony was such a rockstar and has had the honor to teach so many kids the ropes of riding, showing and winning. If you know me (reagan) you know lovebug, that pony loved to win once she realized she couldent get me off anymore! I’ll never forget showing in Aiken Sc, she would flip me right off the front and start eating grass. She was a brat but so special! Until we meet again bug! Go enjoy your green fields and all the grass you want! No one can tell you your to fat anymore! We will miss you down here! 🪽🕊️❣️
