T-minus 3 days until Halloween!!

As we get ready for a night filled with fun for the whole family, it’s important to remember some keys tips on keeping your pups safe this Halloween 🦮🎃

1. Keep Candy Out of Reach: Chocolate, sugar, and artificial sweeteners are toxic to dogs.

2. Avoid Costumes that Restrict Movement: Everyone loves a good puppy costume but just remember to pick one that still allows a full range of motion and easy breathing.

3. Use Reflective Gear: It is safe practice to make sure your dog is wearing some type of reflective gear if you are out walking them in low light so they are still visible.

4. Updated ID Tags & Microchips: These are important to have in case your puppy gets spooked and runs off.

5. Limit Exposure to Trick or Treaters and Loud Noise: Constant doorbell ringing, strangers in costumes, and loud noises can easily stress your dog out. Make sure to create a safe space for them where they can decompress.
