Meet Boog, our brave little star who's back at MedVet Jupiter for her ongoing rehab journey! 🌟

You might remember Boog's incredible story — she's come a long way since her surgery after being hit by a car. Now, she's working hard with Dr. Toni Yang in our Rehabilitation department to get her mobility back on track.

Post-surgery, Boog's rehab routine is packed with exciting treatments like therapeutic laser, ultrasound, massages, targeted exercises, and even an underwater treadmill! Plus, acupuncture to help her feel her best.

We’re over the moon to see her thriving and loving her rehab sessions 💙, keep up the great work, Boog!

🦟 Keep the buzz away! As we enjoy the great outdoors with our pets, it’s important to keep our pets safe from mosquitoes.

These pesky insects can transmit heartworm disease, which can be harmful to our pets. Make sure to use veterinarian-approved repellents and keep up with regular heartworm prevention treatments.

Let’s keep our pets safe and healthy, so they can enjoy every outdoor adventure with us!

MedVet is celebrating National Nonprofit Day by spotlighting a very special program near and dear to our caregivers: the AVMF REACH Program.

We understand unexpected pet emergencies and specialty veterinary care may be a financial burden for pet families — this program breaks down barriers to access veterinary care by offering grants to over 100,000 AVMA members nationwide. Through the AVMF REACH Program and on behalf of our clients, MedVet veterinarians proudly support charitable care when financial barriers could keep patients from getting the care they need.

If you're interested and able to support pet owners in financial need, please consider making a donation to AVMF's REACH Program by clicking the donation link on this post.

Teamwork, Leadership, and Compassion — these are MedVet’s core values that guide us not only in caring for our community’s pets but also in protecting the environment and the animals that inhabit it.

Recently, caregivers at MedVet Jupiter dedicated a morning to cleaning up Jupiter Dog Beach 🏖️ . And it wasn’t just humans supporting the cause — our caregivers caught up with two previous patients, Daisy and Leo, and their pet parent, Russ!

In just a few hours, they collected around 25 pounds of trash, including bottle caps, cans, and even a pool floatie. “Every piece of trash we removed revealed something beautiful: a safe and welcoming beach for our community pets to run and play, and a vital nesting area for our local sea turtles,” says Hospital Director Jennifer Laessig. “We are in peak nesting season, and we want to contribute to their success.”

MedVet Jupiter’s Medical Director, Toni Yang, says “We truly care about our patients and hope this simple act contributes to a safer and more enjoyable environment for them; it was wonderful to see former patients thriving and truly living their best lives.”

The team plans to make this cleanup a regular event and hopes it inspires others in the community.
