Florida is pretty hot on the Lyme disease chart. All it can take is one tick bite.

Having your pet on preventions such as Simparica Trio is a great way to help prevent Lyme disease, but in conjunction to preventatives, the best way to protect your pet is to vaccinate them.

Did you know there is a Lyme vaccine?

At Village Vet we carry Zoetis vaccines, if your pet is vaccinated, on proper prevention like Simparica Trio, and has a yearly Lyme test that is negative, if you pet ever gets diagnosed with Lyme disease they will reimburse up to $5000 of your treatment costs. That's a pretty heavy money back guarantee that their products will protect your pet.

Call us today to get your Lyme vaccine. Or book online!

Did you know dogs and cats cannot metabolize CBD by itself?

Ellevet is an amazing product that has CBD and CBDA allowing pets to actually metabolize the CBD. This company has over 10 years of testing in pets with significant results.

With the highest concentration of CBD on the pet market it can be a powerful aid in joint pain, anxiety, and even chronic itching.

We carry Ellevet at Village Vet! No prescription required.

Did you know we do healthy pet dentals?

This is an anesthetic dental on a pet with mimimal dental disease. This allows you to keep your pet’s dental care in check before dental disease causes a hefty bill.

Our healthy pet dentals start as low as $500!

In comparison, a regular dental with a couple of teeth extractions range from $800-$1500 and a severely diseased mouth with many extractions can be upwards of $1800 at the majority of veterinary hospitals.

Why wait for that big bill, not to mention the stinky breath, and the potential for other ailments as bacteria from the teeth travels to other organs.

At Village Veterinary we want to make preventative dental care affordable for our patients. Call us today or book your appointment online for a consult!

At Village Veterinary we offer laser therapy packages for dogs and cats!

Per AAHA:
Laser therapy helps tissue repair by causing the following:

Endorphin release
Vasodilation, which increases blood flow to bring in oxygen and cells involved in the healing process
Muscle relaxation
Decreased inflammation
Faster healing and repair
The main clinical benefits of laser use in pets include decreased inflammation, decreased pain, and improved wound healing.

Who can benefit from laser therapy?
Laser therapy is used for many veterinary medical conditions, including:

Chronic arthritis
Surgical incisions
Tendon and ligament injuries
Traumatic injuries
Laser therapy is particularly useful for pets with limited medical treatment options, such as:

Pets with liver disease who cannot take medications
Cats, for whom only a few pain-control medications are approved
Older pets with diminished organ function
