Limon is spending the night at socalanimalhospital_. “They are thinking it is brachial plexus avulsion. There is severe nerve damage. They want to give him a steroid injection and see how he does over the next couple days, usually severe cases do end up with a leg amputation, but only time will tell.” This update and video brought to you by Bri. She also says his little spicy self is warming up quickly. She’s one of our fabulous fosters and also employed by SoCal. Thank you Bri! ❤️🐱

Meet Limon! This little man was found in the gutter on Limonite near where the golf course used to be. Despite the fact that his front right leg is dangling he gave me quite the run this morning. 🐈‍⬛🏃‍♀️Lucky for him, I was already heading to socalanimalhospital_ to see Dr. Means with another cat. He’s going to get an evaluation and we will see what he needs. Looks like he fell from an engine compartment onto the road. We’ll update when we know more. ❤️🐱

Meet Tux! He was part of a TNR’d group of kitties that were abandoned on a property. The trapper/foster mom noticed how friendly he was and decided to try to find him a forever home instead of releasing him to fend for himself.
Tux’s approximate dob is 5-27-2024.

Tux has been enjoying the indoor life at his foster mom’s home. He uses the litter box faithfully and enjoys the other kitties through a screened off room. You can tell he wants to get to know them better. So far, he's been calm and plays gently. He enjoys the catnip mice and other small toys/balls that he can either carry or bat around.

He follows his foster mom around and does not try to escape back outside! He LOVES to be brushed. It’s unknown whether he has been around children or dogs. He’s getting better at being held but would prefer to worship you at your feet! He responds well to patience and wants to be loved!

Tux’s adoption fee is $50. He is fully vetted meaning: neutered, microchipped, vaccinated FVRCP (x2) & RABIES, FIV/FELV tested (negative/negative), dewormed and flea treated. His adoption fee is greatly reduced if you’d like to meet this cutie send us a PM so we can set up an appointment.
