This little guy was brought to us from San Jacinto ac. He had a 4 pm appointment with the needle because of the holiday and his medical condition. He doesn’t have a name yet, but he’ll need one before Friday when he goes into see the vet for his left leg that is thought to be broken from being stuck in the slats of a fence. He’s happy to be celebrating Thanksgiving tomorrow in foster. We’re thankful for you and your support especially during the last few days. (Yes, he is already on antibiotics and pain meds for his leg.) ❤️🐱

More on the second challenge of yesterday. This is a little footage from where they were found. When all was said and done it did end up being 12 kittens (the three black ones were hard to see 😉). Thank you for your support. We truly appreciate it. It is a holiday week and many of our volunteers are out of town or preparing for time with their families. We are thankful for Gail and her team for keeping it going during the holiday, but it is overwhelming for the team. ❤️🐱

Miss Mellie is much the same. She has ringworm as well as calicci. No big deal but one more thing to work on. She’s getting more interested in what’s going on around her and starting to open her eyes although they are still pretty red and look painful. She has sight but it’s hard to say exactly what her eyes look like without stressing her out. She’s very sweet as you can see in the clip. And I’ve included a link of the only food the queen is eating right now. 🤦🏼♀️ Should you feel like sending her some. ❤️🐱
