When you get your 8 week old puppies, please keep these images in mind. Their bones do not even touch yet. They plod around so cutely with big floppy paws and wobbly movement because their joints are entirely made up of muscle, tendons, ligaments with skin covering. Nothing is fitting tightly together or has a true socket yet.

When you run them excessively or don't restrict their exercise to stop them from overdoing it during this period you don't give them a chance to grow properly. Every big jump or excited bouncing run causes impacts between the bones. In reasonable amounts this is not problematic and is the normal wear and tear that every animal will engage in.

When you're letting your puppy jump up and down off the lounge or bed, take them for long walks/hikes, you are damaging that forming joint. When you let the puppy scramble on tile with no traction you are damaging the joint.

You only get the chance to grow them once. A well built body is something that comes from excellent breeding and a great upbringing-BOTH, not just one.

Once grown you will have the rest of their life to spend playing and engaging in higher impact exercise. So keep it calm while they're still little baby puppies and give the gift that can only be given once.

Hershey 2024 !!!!

First Thank you to My Husband Tony Johnson for being there and supporting me and helping me build my confidence I could not do this without you pushing me to do my best!

Friday I competed in wired with Roxie the Scottie, we placed 3 rd. Thank you Shannon Tupes for the placement and critiques. Thank you Deborah Shaver for allowing me to groom your beautiful girl!

Saturday I groomed a cute little Bichon named Meadow that was super matted. I had no placement but learned a lot,Thank you Erin Mcdermott for allowing me to use your little girl, we almost did not let her go back she loved my husband so much!!! Kristie Reinhouse Thank you for transporting the little ones and being you!!! I would not be where I am with the Scottie’s without your help and guidance! Thank You Teri Di Marino for the critiques, I’m getting there!!!

I also groomed Mustang Sally in the Poodle class. Now let’s just say it, I’m not good with the poodle cut yet….but I’m working on it! And to my surprise I placed 2nd . Thank you Sue Zucco for your placement and the critiques , I’m still in shock!

Sunday I groomed in the Rescue roundup invitational and groomed a little Blind poodle named Buttercup with a lot of spice! We ended up taking home the Compassionate Groomer Award. Thank you Sarah Heibel for helping me with Buttercup, this Award is for you too, I could not have done this without you walking around and me asking for your help!!!

Callie is 10 1/2 years old and is looking for her forever home.. house broken and loves the yard, but yet she is a couch potatoe!!!

Callie will need to remain on the 4 week grooming schedule with My Buddy Mobile Pet Salon. If interested in Callie please call or text 940-648-8800

Her Owner who was a long time client and friend of mine passed away 2 weeks ago , I have been taking care of Callie since the day before my friend and client went into the hospital.

I’m writing this because i want you to have a plan and a financial plan in place in case something happens to you. Have a family member or a friend or someone that is able to financially take your pet in, In the event something happens to you. Please write them in your Will or have a letter with everything you would like done in detail.

It would save so much heartache for your pet.

What a wonderful man! Heartbroken for the dog show community especially the poodle community

We are all deeply saddened by the unexpected passing of Kaz Hosaka, a legendary handler and cherished member of the Westminster family.

Kaz's kindness, dedication, passion, and exceptional talent left an indelible mark on the world of dog shows. Our deepest condolences to his wife Roxanne and their family, and all who knew and loved him.
