REHOMING ALL PARROTS DUE TO UNEXPECTED FAMILY MEDICAL SITUATION

I am rehoming all of my parrots because my youngest daughter's health has recently gotten worse. She was born with a congenital heart-lung defect and has been hospitalized numerous times ever since she was born, which was no fun for a child or a parent. She has had 3 open heart surgeries, 6 pacemaker implants (is due for another pacemaker implant soon), and has been on oxygen for many years. At 2 1/2 years old she was in the ICU and her heart stopped and I witnessed her being resuscitated. By the grace of God she is now 37 years old. We have been flying to California every few months for the past 16 years so she can see her doctors at Stanford Medical Center because there are no specialists in Hawaii who can manage her condition. The doctors informed us that there is not much more they can do medically and that my daughter needs a heart-lung transplant. After extensive testing and discussion, she was accepted as a candidate for transplant at Stanford Medical Center in Palo Alto, California. We are projecting to relocate there by the end of January 2026 so she can be listed for transplant. We will have to be there for an indefinite amount of time as she is a hard match due to her highly sensitized immune system due to all of her past surgeries and illnesses, but we have to try so she can have a better quality of life and hopefully extend her life. It is very hard for me to let go of all of my parrots but my children and family will always come first. All proceeds will be going towards the costs associated with relocation for my daughter’s heart-lung transplant. Relocation will be financially challenging because not only will we have to rent a place in California for an indefinite amount of time, but I will also have to continue to pay my mortgage here in Hawaii at the same time. Please spread the word and share my website. Thank for your support, good vibes, positive energy, and prayers, all of which are much appreciated!

NOTE: Although I will still be answering messages and you can still place deposits, I will be unavailable to show or ship parrots between October 1st and 9th as I will be taking my daughter to see her doctors at Stanford Medical Center.
