🌈🐾 **Doug’s Journey to His Forever Home!** 🐾🌈

We are over the moon to share a heartwarming story from our cat cafe! 🎉 A wonderful couple from Boston came by yesterday, hoping to save a cat from Maui. 🏝️ But it turns out, adopting a cat and flying back home in one day is quite the challenge due to necessary health certificates! 😬

With the clock ticking and teamwork in full effect, we made some calls to Maui Direct Release & Aloha Veterinary Care. To our amazement, they had the capacity to help us out! 🌟 (A little twist of fate, thanks to the storm that caused some schedule changes!)

Not only did this sweet couple adopt a kitty and prepare to fly home, but they also selflessly assisted us in getting another little furball onto a direct flight for a forever home in Boston! ✈️❤️

With loads of love, a touch of magic, and the expertise from Aloha Vet Care, we secured Doug’s (now Maui’s!) travel arrangements, including flight and health certificates, along with a furry travel companion! 💼

So here we are, cheering as Maui embarks on his exciting journey to a loving home in Boston! 🎊🏡 Huge congrats to the new family and a massive thank you to everyone involved. This is why we do what we do – happy endings make our hearts sing! 💖✨

A Miracle in the Making
Spice, a sweet five-month-old calico kitten with one eye, has a story that touched everyone involved. First she was spotted at the Maui Humane Society, captured the hearts of a couple visiting from Boston. Even after returning home, they couldn’t stop thinking about her. Days later, they saw her again—this time at Cat Café Maui—and reached out to us with hope and determination.

The couple was ready to do whatever it took to bring Spice home, even offering to fly to Arizona if necessary. But after checking the FlyHawaiiCats.org database, we couldn’t find a volunteer flyer heading to Boston or Arizona. It seemed like an impossible task.

Then, as if by a miracle, just a few days later, another couple walked into Cat Café Maui. Robert and Aurora, kind-hearted animal lovers, casually mentioned they were flying to Boston that very day. It felt like the universe was aligning to help.

Time was tight—Spice needed a flight certificate, and it was a Saturday. But luck was on our side. Thanks to a storm the day before, Aloha Veterinary Care had an unexpected opening, allowing them to provide the health certificate in just a few hours.

With a transporter, a health certificate, and even a travel buddy (Robert and Aurora ended up adopting another cat, too!), everything fell into place. Spice was finally on her way to Boston!

This incredible journey wouldn’t have been possible without the collective effort of so many:
• Ashley and David: For their unwavering love and commitment to Spice.
• Robert and Aurora: For stepping in at the perfect moment and making this miracle happen.
• Maui Humane Society: For rescuing Spice, providing her with medical care, and giving her a second chance.
• Maui Direct Release & Aloha Veterinary Care: For moving mountains to make last-minute miracles possible.

All the stars aligned for Spice, and we couldn’t be happier. Congratulations to her new family, and thank you to everyone who played a part in her journey.
