We will not be accepting any new intakes until further notice. We appreciate your support while we focus on the health of the cats and kittens currently in our care. A stroller walk downtown lead to Torti being adopted!

Her new mama was enjoying her break at the local cafe when we pulled up with a bundle of kittens. She fell in love with Torti, who would probably do best in an all adult household.

Torti’s new mama excitedly bought everything she needed once she was out of work and came to pick up her new baby. I offered to put together the carrier for her while she played with kittens and made sure she made the right decision.

The rest, it’s history.

We love you Torti and trust that you’re in great hands!

We’re trying to find homes for these kittens before they even come to the sanctuary!

4 Happy and Loving Kittens Seeking Happy and Loving Homes. 1 sweet black female and 3 fluffy, friendly males.

The fluffy creamy one is very playful and loves attention.

The tabby is curious and very smart and friendly.

The grey one is a very sweet and loving girl.

The black female loves to be held and babied.

None of them are timid. All are so very playful too. I believe they would all love to play with other cats as well.

PINKY AND CHANEL GOT ADOPTED!!!

Pinky and Chanel got adopted this week by two loving families and we all could't be happier about it.

Their three siblings, Tortie (female), Chunky (male) and Lacy (male) are happy, healthy, and very much up for adoption as of this post! Adoption starts at $25. DM us to set up a meet n' greet with these wonderful lil balls of joy.

Meet Duckling! he is a 2.5 year old cat who has so much love to give.

He is fully up to date on vaccines, neutered, and microchipped and a total sweetie at the vet. He even gave blood to help another cat who needed a life saving transfusion!

He is great with other cats and new people. He was found dumped at Duck Lake State Park as a kitten and earned his name that way when he was rescued by a park ranger after being injured.

He loves to cuddle and play with toys, especially dangly ones and loves to chase.

He has a birth defect that makes it difficult for him to jump up on counters so he is mostly floor bound. This defect also causes some urinary incontinence when he gets excited or sleeps deeply.

He is a diamond in the rough though and loves to spend time with people whenever possible and rub on ankles.

If you can home or foster this special boy, please reach out ASAP as the sanctuary is at capacity!

These 5 lovely bundles of yarn are ready for adoption!

They came from a friendly mama living outside in a barn and were well socialized daily.

(Sexes not confirmed at this time)

Pinky is something special. She’s in the front with her pink nose. She follows me around begging for loving, purring when picked up.

Lacy is to the left with her white toes.

Chunky is all the way to the right. Goes limp when picked up.

Torti is known for cuddling under the neck.

Chenille is all the way in the back. She’s the more cautious of the bunch but I’m sure will warm up in a calm environment. She still tolerates being picked up, just for shorter periods of time.

When a mama is panting when she arrives at the sanctuary, it’s fair to expect kittens within 24-72 hours. Once we knew she was safe, settled, purring and presenting her belly, we knew it was time to get started right away with Minnie’s maternity photo shoot. She graciously and serendipitously posed for the camera despite being in pre labor.

We’re glad to have met you today Minnie, and look forward to welcoming your kittens into our home as well soon. Til then, and frankly from here on out, we’re here for you day and night. We’re already proud of you for pushing through the pain of child birth. It’ll all be worth it.

One door closes and another opens.

We are grateful Carla’s family is moving forward toward adoption so that we could welcome our next family into our home. Our new queen arrived 20 minutes after Carla’s family was driven back to be spayed/neutered and adopted out. We’re grateful we got our next queen in before she had her kittens outside in the elements because she came panting and ready to welcome babies soon.

This beautiful tabico cat was abandoned outside by her owners who simply couldn’t afford to feed her, let alone properly care for her. She was quickly and graciously taken in by her neighbor. When calling the original owner, the neighbor was told to either leave her outside to fend for herself or to take her on herself. And oh by the way her name’s Minnie. Knowing she didn’t want Minnie on the streets, Sam tried many times to get her four cats to tolerate Minnie, and they were not having it.

She called around for months to everywhere she could think of as she temporarily houses poor Minnie on her porch. Minnie would sleep underneath and had her food up top, though she had to work hard for her food now. There were feral cats she wasn’t used to competing with as an indoor cat her whole life. They would circle her. Surround her. Harass her as she tried to get enough to survive in this new cold, lonesome world.

While all this was going on one of the feral cats took advantage of Minnie’s innocence and lack of being spayed and gave her kittens to carry on without him.

Mama cat is the beautiful tabbico and daddy cat is an albino with fierce red eyes.

That mystery albino saved her life through his harsh actions. Now she is more than a porch kitty. She’s now part of Ali’s Sanctuary. She’s been warmly welcomed to a soft, loving, home environment until her forever home is ready for her.

No more being pregnant fighting for her food. No more cold, lonely nights. No more stress or anxiety.

Just love. Just pure warmth and acceptance into a home that will treat her as family until she finds her forever family.

She has been nothing but warm, accepting, and loving since being at the sanctuary. She knows she is safe and loved here for as long as she needs.

The neighbor, her savior, sent me with these encouraging words: she is an angel who loves fresh catnip, chin scratches, and cardboard scratching toys.

With simply her blanket from her past life, to show where she came from, and feel comfort in knowing she’s safe now. She is both home and on her way home congruently. She can rest easy knowing she and her kittens will grow up in safe, warm, and loving homes.

We’re so grateful she’s adjusted quickly and smoothly to the sanctuary. It’s as if she knows the worst of her life is over. Her forever home is just a step away, and she will always have the sanctuary to fall back on.

Welcome home Minnie, we love you and your family dearly.

This is why we do this! Today we take mama Carla and her 5 babies in to get fixed and adopted out. I know every litter is special, but this one had some magic along with tragedy. We love you Carla and are so grateful to have met Dottie, Panther, Gray, Foxy, Lebowski, and of course our dear baby Ali, who we love more than the world.
