One thing I love most about being a horseman is starting/training c**ts and fillies! I love to start one from scratch under my proposed methods and techniques, and watch them grow daily. BTB FAM meet Benny, 3yr old Arabian who’s really cool! He’s been doing really well in my program, progressing each and every ride! I really like this c**t a lot and look forward to seeing his future on the Arabian circuit in ranch classes and working cow horse with his BTB Foundation set in stone. A Very smart and teachable young man who wants to please his rider. Never been an Arab guy but this one is growing on me!

Consistency during practice sessions are key to success during competitions. When you practice have an agenda, game plan, and seriousness about what your trying to accomplish.. we’ve been off for 3 months, trying to get back in shape for the summer run 😃

Week 3 of innovative learning complete💚

During week 1 & 2 we taught our students what it’s like own a horse, horse nutrition, and the anatomy of equine! Reasoning being, often we purchase horses not knowing how much work it takes to truly care for a horse and it’s entirety! I wanted my students to understand that it’s not just going to the barn riding and having fun, but always responsibilities behind owning a horse that are essential.

This week they got to put it all together and actually ride/learn the beginner basics of riding! Talk about excited!! To see them connect all dots, and speak with confidence because their coaches prepared them was truly amazing! Everyone knew equipment, how to saddle, and identified body parts with ease! We will continue the education next week with a step up to the riding, learning more each week! So proud kids!

Week 2 of innovative learning complete 🙌🏾. This week my team and I focused on Anatomy and Physiology of farm animals! Activities included:

✅Doctoring Methods and Deworming
✅Nutrition and Diet
✅Classroom breakout sessions on A&P

Seeing my students eager and attentive to learn more information this week, truly brought a smile to my face! Each week we plan to build brick by brick, helping every child shine bright! Watching them engage and learn more each week is truly rewarding, and all I’ve ever wanted for this curriculum developed. So proud and thankful for my awesome staff and all their hard work to this program! What a great day!!!!

As the Equine Director for 5 Star Life, today was the first day of the 6-week innovative curriculum learning program for 5th & 6th graders. The program teaches the students everything Equine related, and for the next six weeks, students will learn the BTB methods and horsemanship methods while guiding them to success if they choose to pursue 4-H or even prepare them for competition. My 5 star team and I have partnered with local schools in Michigan and Indiana to provide services to thousands of awesome children who are ready to grow their farming and horse handling skills! I am so excited for the upcoming weeks, and the opportunity to share the progression of our students and staff! 😊

“Learn from each and every horse you throw a leg over, if you are only a student of technique, options become very deficient! But being student & shepherd of the horse, options become immense ‼️I train horses because it’s a passion, not a money source! My goals with my clients are greater than any dollar amount 🤟🏽💪🏾when you do what you love, you’ll never work a day in life ‼️

I appreciate each and every one of my supporters this year! This show season was simply amazing and I’m so proud of each client and the work they put in this year to exceed their horsemanship!
