I think it's safe to say that this little guy has a lot of love to give and he found just the right family to receive it! It was worth the wait. We are so excited for Muufie and his new family 💛💛💛 be blessed!

I'm going to miss this puppy more than I ever thought possible. He's been a great companion! Muufie💛 has been a pal to every single member of our family. Even Grandma Buddy is attached to him now 🤭
I took him to school to say goodbyes to our friends who named him at birth and have visited him weekly the past 13 weeks. He was a champ in the carpool line and loved the car ride. He's going to go big places, do big things and bring lots of joy and that's the reason we do what we do. 🌞

Bo got to go home with his new parents and big brother Hondo (from our 2021 litter). He is going to be so spoiled and so blessed and I have a feeling he's going to have a lot of new neighborhood friends to play with 🫶🏼

I know a little girl who's LOVING having two puppies to dress up, drag around and tuck in 🤭 This is what we appreciate about Buddy & Emma also. They just let our kids do what they need to do to regulate. They receive constant petting of course, but they also follow ANY leader to ANY place with or without a leash. They wear all the bandanas, bows, headbands and shirts. They allow themselves to be tucked into the most unusual "beds"/piles of blankets or in this case- swings and they listen to endless stories and songs. This is their"job" and they're sure earning their keep 🤩😂🫶🏼

If you're noticing that I post less and less, it's because I DO NOT mind having pups around a little longer than usual 🥰 These boys are so easy to be with! They are so fun and playful with toys and ropes and balls, they snuggle all of us during movie night and at bedtime. They're champs at going potty outside (at least 90% of the time 😉). How could we not fall in love? We're still looking for homes for these two, we're just enjoying the "stolen" snuggles time!

Well, you haven't heard a lot about our little peach princess because we thought we might keep her but the timing wasn't perfect so she got to go home with the sweetest sister-friends yesterday! She and her big brother are going to go to the dog park everyday to make new friends 🍑🍑🍑

Little Blue got to visit the horse farm with the girls and I. He was a very well-behaved boy and did not run off to smell all the smells. He came when we said come and he was happy to rest in my lap and watch all the fun.

For those of you who are so thoughtfully checking on our Emma girl, THANK YOU! This was her first litter and we weren't sure how she was going to handle her pups leaving. The truth is she's grieving a little. She has been pacing around the house looking for love and attention in new ways this week. We've joked that we aren't sure if she misses her pups or the blue hippos more (😂 She REALLY loved those hippos!) so we took her to Oakridge to pick out some new toys that she can carry. It's a pretty normal golden retriever trait to carry stuffed toys everywhere and bring soft things to their people. Needless to say, Emma is happily wagging her tail and Makenna's room is filled with new toys (& socks & pillows & washcloths... Anything soft and small enough to fit in Emma's mouth!)

Muufie (Mr Yellow) is an excellent gardener! He helped me out today and I've never had so much fun pulling weeds. He put things in my bucket and took them out. He sat and smelled the flowers (and tasted a few). He helped me, explored a bit, then checked in with me again. He's such an excellent companion -always attentive and affectionate. This boy is growing up so nicely. Who else needs a gardening buddy? He's ready to go home today 💛💛💛

Some mixed emotions today as it's the day after pickup day. These guys all watched everyone else leave yesterday... We try to give some extra love when this happens (it actually always happens to some pup or two or three 🤭) Neon (orange) is happy to play inside and get extra snuggles. We all know that he's happy and relaxed wherever he goes 😉
🧡🧡🧡 He's ready for his fur-ever family though! Anyone want to come over and play!?

These last two weeks of having pups with their Mama is so important! Our pups are learning something from Mama Emma EVERY day. She corrects them, she shows them how to play, she leads them on hunt's to follow their nose around the yard. She's still feeding them, just little bits, but that's not the reason they're here, they're learning how to be good dogs this week 🫶🏼

Mr Yellow is so fun!! We're calling him Mufasa aka Muufie 🤣 He's the" leader of the pack" in both size and personality, always up for an adventure and he loves to play with his siblings. He's a gentle giant and doesn't usually make a sound, but we always know he's there eager to be a friend 💛💛💛

Let us out of jail!! Every time I come up the stairs these guys rush to the edge of the crate and look at me through the bars as if I can rescue them from their comfy torture 😂🫣😍 man, they're tugging on my heart! This Wednesday they will start tasting solid food and then I'll feel better about letting everyone outside to play. Until then, we've filled the pen with toys that are not nearly as fun to chew on as brothers and sisters are...

Do you know who my favorite is?? {Yes, I always have a favorite and please, don't tell the others! 😂} I have a thing for reds, I guess. We've nicknamed our first-born Cupid for her red collar AND the heart shaped white on her forehead. I just can't get enough of her snuggles. ❤️

Happy Happy Birthday to Buddy's first ever litter of pups. (Where are all our girls at!?) We just adore you Pipp♥️,Sunny💛, Stella💚, Luna💙, Violet💜, Bunny🩷, and of course our very own Emma🧡! You made Buddy a Mama and we're forever grateful. Waves👋🏼 to all the families who trusted us to raise their pups and learn all the things for the first time 😁

Our Story

Buddy {the girl} is a 4 year old Labradoodle and the pride of our family. With kids coming and going and friends all around, she brings fun and comfort to each of us in such ridiculous only-dog-people-understand-it ways. She’s friendly and protective and crazy playful. Oh, and she knows how to high-five. That's very important.

She has been bred with a Goldendoodle stud named Tucker and the puppies are here!! Buddy astounds us with her nurture and that incredible instinct to be a mom. She’s blown us away with her ability to “parent.” We know she’ll be sad when they go, but we also know we’ll do this again. It has been too fun not to!
