The events offered by the UKC Hunting Ops department are designed to as closely simulate an actual hunt as possible with the exception of taking of game, which is strictly prohibited. Dogs compete, sometimes individually and sometimes in a group depending on the event, for points towards Championship and Grand Championship titles. United Kennel Club believes hunting heritage should be maintained a

nd supports the right to bear arms and all legal forms of hunting. We view hunting as a celebration of valued family traditions, a source of recreational activity, and a necessary aspect of game management. Our various c**nhound events closely simulate actual hunts without talking game.
