Sometimes things happen, and we don’t necessarily get a reason why. We lost our expected litter, and this girl and I are feeling it 💔
As a breeder, we put our heart and soul into our dogs. We dedicate hundreds of hours of time, pocket money, as well as blood, sweat and tears into our puppies. Our dogs are our pets too, so we have a whole pack in our house that takes maintaining.
We have regular vet visits. Our breeding dogs need to be healthy, and in breeding we have costs like progesterone testing, c-sections, vaccinations, vet checks and funds set aside for any possible emergency care needed.
We have hours into training and care. We want a happy pack so therefore we have to dedicate time into ensuring our dogs, puppies and adults, can thrive in whatever environment they are in.
When things like this happen, it’s heartbreaking not just because the monitary loss is impactful, but because we LOVE what we do. Every puppy is like one of our own, and they deserve every ounce of our time we can give to ensure they have the best start.
Breeding is not for the faint of heart. You are met with criticism, hate and bullying. Long nights, work filled days and complete emotional upheaval when things don’t go right. We have the responsibility of providing a joyful experience and the best health in puppies for our puppy parents. We do not take these things lightly.
It’s for the preservation of this amazing breed that we do what we do, because we love these dogs with everything we have.
Thank you everyone for your continued support, and we will look forward to happy, healthy puppies in the future ❤️
