After months of studying, I finally attended and graduated from Nepopo Training Silver School! I learned so much valuable information that I cannot wait to implement with clients and my own dogs.
It was a privilege to meet so many other trainers willing to keep learning to perfect their craft and so many willing to help their fellow trainers. Good trainers never stop learning.

Grendel is just boarding here for the weekend while her parents are away. She is a 5 year old Belgian Malinois, and as with many high drive working dogs, her owners struggle with finding a boarding facility that knows how to interact with and treat these dogs. Grendel is doing great here, loving all the fetch she can handle, and warmed up to us very quickly because we respected her space and acted appropriately.

Well Jake was a star at the Impact Montana fundraiser! He did so well in the loud, crowded building. He showed off his amazing engagement and everything he learned the last 2 weeks.

And, we couldn’t be happier about the family who got him. He will live a happy, healthy life with some great new humans. We can’t wait to hear about his progress and maybe do some future training!

We are coming down to the last few days with Jake, and he has learned so much! He has been to so many public places including school and soccer games. He’s super confident, and curious and his engagement is amazing. He has been an absolute joy to work with.

Jake will be an amazing dog for whoever gets him this weekend at the Impact Montana Night of Impact fundraiser.

Jake got to try out the snuffle mat for the first time last night. He picked it up pretty quick and eventually tried to dump the food out of the mat.
Enrichment games with food are great puppy training. It uses their natural food drive and teaches them to problem solve.

It’s Mr Arlo’s last couple days with us. He has come so far and is doing amazing!
His advanced obedience/off leash training and recall is coming along really well with the help of a properly conditioned ecollar. Time to prep him and his owners to transition everything he has learned to his own home.

Jake had his first public outing yesterday! We went into Home Goods and he did great. He is walking on a leash very well and pays good attention to me. We also introduced luring last night and he is catching on. Already luring into a sit and a heel!

Play time with new friends!
Jake did amazing yesterday! He loves playing with our Corgi, Max. And Max is happy to finally have a playmate he is bigger than (it’s though being the little guy in a house full of German Shepherds).
We practiced recall, walking on a leash and building markers. He is already telling us when he has to go potty and he sleeps through the night perfectly!

Just picked up this guy in Helena to join our pack for the next couple weeks for puppy bootcamp! Meet Jake, the 12 week old Ausie/Labradoodle.

Jake was donated to Impact Montana (an organization to help local veterans and first responders) to be a part of their Night of Impact fundraiser auction. We are donating our puppy bootcamp program to make sure Jake will be the best addition possible to his new home. Follow along for cute puppy progress!

Entering our 2nd week with Arlo and he is doing so well. They learn in leaps and bounds this 2nd week and so fun to want them put all their new behaviors into practice! He’s practicing being calm in the house, staying out of the way and not counter surfing.

Good Boy, Mr. Moose does it again! One of the things we’ve worked with him on is neutrality (AKA not *LOVING* everyone he comes across).

Today, he had an opportunity to shine when he accompanied his human while she received a delivery. Here is her testimony:

“Oh my gosh, that went perfect! He didn’t bark even once. They came out super fast, while I was still getting him out of the back, so the girl walked right up to us and he still did fine. You are making my life so much less stressful! 🙌🏼 “

It’s first day of school for Arlo! He is an 11 month old Great Dane and outweighs me by quite a bit, but he is such a sweet boy! We are excited to help him learn basic obedience and house manners. It is so important when you have a pup who can reach your counters without much effort!
