11/15/2025 Update! Jacl is getting picked up today by Tiffany and starting his journey to Montana!

Update! The donations have come.in and jacks transport is covered!! Thank you all so much! We did it! Yay!!!

Jill has been a trooper, pouring every ounce of love into her Jack, but the time has come for a tough transition as Jill's health takes a turn. It's never easy to say goodbye, especially when you've shared so much, but Jill is facing this with grace, knowing that finding Jack a new home is the best thing for him. It's a bittersweet moment, but it’s also a testament to her dedication. Letting go is hard, but it shows just how much she cares, and that’s something to applaud. So, we've been looking for where Jack will spend his next chapter.

We’ve got some fantastic news—Jack has found his forever home in Eastern Montana! His new mom is a lovely lady who has previously adopted two of our Collies and still has a smoothie named Biscuit from us. Talk about a match made in heaven! Now, all that’s left is getting Jack from Illinois to Montana, and we’ve got a plan in place.

Our trusty transporter, Tiffany, is ready to swoop in and bring Jack to his new digs next week. However, there’s a little hitch: the transport cost is $700, and no one was exactly prepared for this expense. So, I thought, why not rally the troops and start a collection to cover the transport fee? Every little bit helps, and it would be amazing to see our community come together for Jack’s big move.

I’m all in for this idea! It’s not just about getting Jack to his new home; it’s about showing our support and love for our furry friends and their journeys. Let’s make this happen and ensure Jack gets to his new mom without a hitch.

Update: Jack has a new home waiting or him and transport has been covered thanks to donarions!

Hello everyone. We received notification today about a Tesla x Dori, Scotch Collie adult, neutered male, needing immediate placement either back to us, or a 'perfect for him' individual. His owner is facing a severe illness and looking into Hospice care. He has been very loved. (Photo is his sister who looks a lot like him)

Tessa's testing came back and we couldn't be more pleased! Her results are excellent being clear for all Collie anomalies, and DMS low risk. She is the granddaughter of Tesla and Great granddaughter of Dar & Sierra. We can see all of them in her shining personality. She is just 7 months old.

About Us

Welcome to Wind Whispers Farm, LLC & S Newman Photography!

We are changing and growing always, and there are many exciting things happening. We can Always make improvements, and be better.

Our goal at Wind Whispers Farm is doing the things we love to do. Our Collies are our life. We enjoy every day with them. They bring us so much joy.

We have many goals with our Collies and we will share some here. One goal that we have admired and wish to achieve is to bring some fresh genetics into the collie lines, keeping good health and structure, and also bring the Bi-Black color back into the Collie breed. We found Ebony a about 2 years ago and our first litter is on the ground. Photos are on our website, and they are gorgeous. We have a working OTSCA line and will be completing our adult registrations with them soon.

We have switched all our AKC registered Collies to UKC registration as of 2020. We feel their values meet our goals much better, and we feel they focus better on the complete collie, and not just head, eyes, and coat. Our goals are having healthy, happy, active, and workable collies, who excel above even our expectations.

2017 Update - The first is we have outgrown our name, so we have changed it to d Whispers Farm, which we love and this will expand as we expand to have horses, goats, and maybe more.

The second is that we started hand selecting our collies a few years ago, looking for qualities that would work towards the Classic Working Collie lines. We now have in place an upcoming program which will have a stronger line of working collies, as well as our rough Collies.

We have been gathering agility equipment, and more play toys for our puppy culture program, and designing how our expansion will allow for doing some really fun things with future litters. It's our wish to also expose them to livestock before they leave us and as our Montana weather allows.

We are very proud of these changes, and look forward to taking care of our customers as we always have.

Our hours will change as our responsibilities grow. We will be available on our regular days, but the days will be shorter and appointments can be made to accommodate talking with you as always.

We have been Collie lovers and owners for 30 years. We couldn’t imagine a day without several Collies in it. They are what makes our lives complete and enjoyable. We have some working farm collies and some carefully chosen lines. We hand select our Collies for Working ability, Moderate Coat, Moderate in Size, Temperament, and excellent Health.

We health test, strive towards working collie goals, and who genuinely care about the Collie breed. W e have come to an impasse in our breeding program and are making plans toward growth of our farm in 2020.

We all work together to promote responsible breeding programs and work to provide you an intelligent healthy, socialized, and amazing Collie puppy. We do the Neurological Stimulation from birth each day to desensitize and make a biddable and adaptable puppy who isn’t stressed by the little things and who has working drive. We raise our puppies using Puppy Culture in our main living area of our home with hands every day.
