Meet Amber! Originally from Polson, MT, Amber has always been interested in keeping and caring for all animals! She plans to go to Veterinary school and loved the idea of working at Glacier K9 to get some hands on professional experience caring for dogs and cats!
She hopes to one day be able to care for exotic friends such as reptiles, birds, and livestock!

Pit bulls were initially bred in the 19th century as farm dogs in England and Ireland? Their job was to help herd livestock, guard farms, and provide companionship. In addition, due to their intelligence, athleticism, and drive to please, pit bulls are popularly used in search-and-rescue missions and as therapy and service dogs! This precious girl especially loves her snuggles!!
