Well, we finally made it home from the World Taxidermy Competition in Coralville Iowa, and Grand American Trap shoot in Sparta, Illinois. Aiden did ok shooting, and got a great experience. Something that many will never experience. There were around 700 pieces in the World competition. I haven't been to a world competition since 2007. So I decided to enter the Professional division to get a feel of things. I ended up winning Best All Around Taxidermist in the World Professional division. Great seeing old friends, and meeting new ones. What an experience. Glad to be home though.

Delivered the Bush buck yesterday. Pretty cool to see my work displayed in customers houses. There are at least another 6 African pieces and multiple Montana pieces displayed in other rooms. I'm very thankful to all my customers, and their continuous support. HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!! May you all shoot straight in 2023!

Customer decided after quite a few years that he would rather have his Bush buck on the floor, than on the wall in the kitchen. A lot of times we can change up a base if you would rather have it a different way, or just to give an old mount a new look.
