Are you looking to adopt? The dogs currently at Arlee Rehabilitation Center are fantastic - some of the easiest and best dogs they have ever had. Almost all cause zero problems: potty trained, crate trained, mellow, no destructive behavior, friendly, leash trained, etc.
And yet, there's practically been no interest. There must be adopters looking for loving dogs out there somewhere! They're just not contacting ARC.

Please, if you're considering adopting, and checking with our local shelters and rescues, please consider the wonderful doggos at Arlee Rehabilitation Center!

It's National LOVE YOUR PET Day! Show your fur-ever friend some extra love today!

There's no other pet quite like YOUR pet. Whether they're a cuddle monster or the craziest ball of energy, they fill our lives with love, laughter, and wet noses.

Here are some ways to celebrate:
• Extra belly rubs, ear scratches, and playtime! They deserve all the pampering.
• Treat them to a yummy new toy or snack. (P.S. We have some paw-some stuff at Dee-O-Gee!)
• Head out for a fun adventure together. A walk in the park, a hike in the woods, or even just a visit to your local pet store (hint hint).
• Don't forget the snuggles! Curl up on the couch and shower them with affection. (They'll never say no!)

‘Twere the days before Christmas, we met Buddy the Elf. Regularly sneaking throughout, to be found on a shelf! He would pop in & out, snuggled in many hiding spots. Nestled in treats, among bully stick pots! A little man & sometimes a beast, never to be bothered, Mostly hiding away, he would never be collared! Caught in earthly hoops, easily baited & rated, Always toying around as if he was fated! The stockings were hung on the shelves with great care, Maybe we’d find our little friend there?! He would often miss the freezing temps found at the Pole, So we’d find him snacking in places that get super duper cold! And when the cold was too ruff, he’d seek out some flare, Snuggled up warmly in something to wear! Then one day, in an avalanche of kibble, We found the little guy, stuck in the middle! His shenanigans bewilder us, like a curious dog with a bowl, Was he hoping to find it filled with a tasty casserole?! Back to nestling in a nice cozy sweater, Buddy had never felt better! One day the elf wanted to go for a ride, So on the back of a plush dragon, we did spy! Then the poor little guy got totally smushed, No wonder we couldn’t find him, he was thoroughly shushed! Can it be he was tempted by the lotus at the start? That legendary fruit invokes an unwillingness to depart! Teetering from the ledge of a colorful stall, He lost his tiny balance & fell into a nice cushy ball! Oh good gravy, or might that have been mud? Little buster stumbled once more & landed with a thud! He found some vitamins, to mend his poor sores, And then would toy around before resuming his chores! Was that his boss watching him from up on high? We saw him sneak up from behind like a diminutive spy! On one of those days, he did not want to be alone, So they climbed up to the rafters and sat on their throne. They surveyed their playground with such great delight, Hoping to continue their adventures each & every good night! Always mischievous and n

Origin Story

After many years of working in the Healthcare IT field, having weathered corporate politics & layoffs, and tired of the California rat race, it was time to literally change my latitude and shift gears into a more independent line of work!

After one particular soul searching road trip, I instantly fell in love with the Flathead Valley and relocation plans were immediately put into action! But what to do? I quickly realized that Kalispell was lacking in the boutique-style, social pet-hub type of store that offered quality products & services I was so accustomed to providing for my (then) beautiful & sweet Border Collie, Dakota.

Then I found Josh & Holly, the founders of Dee-O-Gee! Their vision, style and attention to quality aligned with my passion. That and I was selfishly wanting to find a way to always have my dog with me at work! Partnering with them was a “no-brainer”.

In just under a year, the vision of Dee-O-Gee here in the Flathead Valley went from conception to reality. I made the long but rewarding journey to settle into this beautiful area and although Dakota was unable to make the journey with me, she is the inspiration and spirit behind this adventure. (RIP sweet girl!) She is loved but not forgotten and my new best friend Max, an equally loving and sweet Border Collie, now takes up the mantle of carrying her legacy forward.
