What a fun weekend! Had a blast teaching a clinic at Kyhlwood Training Center in Parkersburg Saturday. Great riding and lots of learning in a very fun and supportive barn. Thank you Katie for organizing and Jenna for hosting. Looking forward to next time!
Sunday was full of lessons at the farm and some real breakthroughs happened. Well done!! It is so rewarding to help horses and their riders find new ways to have better conversations. It's what fuels my spirit. I got to practice what I preach by riding Cheyenne today. What a good girl she was! Yippee! My heart is full.

I have the BEST barn family!! This horrid weather has been hard on horses and humans alike. Its taken heroic effort to keep the horses comfortable, one I could not do without my crew. Maggie and Denise have been right there with me, drenched in sweat, while we hosed the horses off yet again. Since Friday...by Sunday and again today many needed to come in and park in front of their stall fans for a while. Which means stall mucking. Which I'm not supposed to be doing yet. And tonight two boarders surprised me by mucking all the day stalls so I could go relax and actually have dinner before 9:00! Very much appreciated!! It is truly a labor of love here. Wolf Ridge Farm is nothing without its people and I'm forever grateful for each of you 💚🤍🖤 Photo is a sunset thunderhead that parked and grew and spit lightning all evening Sunday. Mother Nature kicks on, too!
