Joey's Feline Friends We only accept returned JFF cats at this time. In addition, we assist in local rescues and provide consultation on a wide variety of feline issues.

Joey’s Feline Friends (JFF) is a non-profit, no-kill shelter dedicated to the care of abused, abandoned, and physically-challenged cats and kittens on the island of O‘ahu. Founded in 1998 by Tedra Villaroz, Joey’s Feline Friends (JFF) is a non-profit, no-kill shelter and rescue organization dedicated to the care of abused, abandoned, and physically-challenged cats and kittens on the island of O‘ah

u. Since our inception, we have adopted out hundreds of felines on an annual basis (to all islands in Hawai‘i, except Ni‘ihau), provided shelter to over 3,000, and services to 3,500. JFF has provided high-quality, compassionate care for hundreds of terminally ill felines and facilitated numerous spay/neuter services for colony and shelter cats. Currently, there are over 200-300+ felines of all colors, ages, and personalities at our shelter who are looking to be adopted into responsible, loving homes. The average monthly cost to feed, shelter, and care for *one* JFF cat: $30+ (not including any medical complications that may arise). Since we are a privately-owned and operated entity, a large portion of donations goes directly towards the care and needs of the animals (food, shelter, medical bills, etc.). Any and all donations are always greatly appreciated AND tax deductible!

Volunteer here with an observation. If you are able to donate some food to the shelter (Amazon delivery or otherwise) and you choose Friskies wet food, seems to me pate (regular) goes further than any marked “gravy” or “extra gravy”. Let’s give these hungry kitties more bang for the buck in these hard times. ❤️🐈

Kaneohe’s wet and wonderful nature is hard on the structures at the shelter. The biggest need at 🐈‍⬛ JFF 🐈 at present is triage for the structure known affectionately as « the cottage » that is suffering wood rot. If you would like to make a year-end donation to JFF, that is the biggest need.
