🚨 911 situation🚨
He was taken to the vet today and found to have foreign body (he ate a sock). They elected to euthanize for cost- the vet asked if they could instead find a rescue. They signed surrender to the vet and left him there . Now he’s standing there with tears in his eyes . That picture ripped my heart out. He has to be hurting and sad . They are asking us to help. we didn’t even raise back the funds from medicals this week so to pull this off we need you . The surgery estimate is $3500-4000. I need your help to save his life. It’s always tough in rescue to have an adoption returned due to divorce, new baby, don’t have time, etc…WE HEAR IT ALL!

As hard as it seems on the rescue, the animals really take the biggest hit. We can’t imagine how confusing this must be for three returned adoptions in our rescue right now 💔💔

Maybe the city will never give us the help we need but with enough fosters, we could save them all guys. Fostering is hard, even when it’s easy. That’s the truth. The more people we have to help, relieve and support each other, the more animals we save. Nothing worth it, is ever easy 🤷🏻‍♀️❤️🫶🏻🐶

***update, the sheriff has been to the home and is not able to remove the animal. We will have to work with the family if we want to see anything done. Is there anyone who speaks spanish that would be willing to go help with communication? Or help foster?

We were trying to entice a stray kitty in the neighbors yard and we thought we came up in an empty kennel. There is a poor dog living underneath the wood floor boards. My heart is dying. My understanding is animal control can’t do anything if it has food and shelter. This shouldn’t count (I took the water) 🥹❤️🙏🐶 how do we help her?
