This is one of my favorite Spring breakfasts, wild greens & eggs on sourdough toast. 🥰 This one features wild onion, wild lettuce, dandelion, sorrel, clover, bee balm, marjoram & za’atar oregano from our garden, & violet greens. It’s seasoned with garlic powder & smoked garlic salt grown in St Louis. Sweet spring abundance. 🌱

We’re starting some home renovation!! I’m repurposing the top of this cabinet into a countertop & fold out counter extension to give us more prep space. The pantry shelving is being replaced with pull out drawers & shelves, so we can better utilize the vertical space. Our kitchen already looks twice as big!! Can’t wait to share this journey with you all, we have some pretty cool ideas. 🥰

I never dreamed I could actually be doing this work full-time…these last 2 days have been one of the best experiences. This is my work, folks. This is what I do, & I’m incredibly grateful to my friend for the opportunity to create.

I’d call this my art, my craft. But really, I’m just holding the tools, allowing the trees to tell their stories. There is something magical about working with wood, a secret language we get to read but never fully understand. I’ll always be in awe of the abundance in our world, & how much we can learn if we are patient enough to listen. 🌲
