First sheep, now goats! Thanks to for having our Conservation Landscape cohort out to remove honeysuckle, plant nine bark and of course feed and interact with the goats who were hard at work removing honeysuckle along the Kessler Park trails. Thanks to for their continued work restoring the trails too. ☀️

Thank you to and for having this planting and seeding event last Saturday. The conservation landscape crew had a great time getting our hands in the dirt separating and planting seeds. It was a really lovely event to build community and create peaceful moments as gardens begin to prepare for this new season of growth. ☀️

1. Is a builder and maker interested in teaching in an awesome fabrication shop.
2. Is looking for a fun and meaningful part time gig and is able to work evening and weekend hours.
3. Wants to work with youth in need and teach them the skills they need for a powerful future in the trades.

Our shop and program's focus is on the fabrication of furniture pieces and products. Runs as a real-world shop model taking projects and commissions from the community to support the work. Our perfect candidate is someone who wants to share their building talents with the next generation and is comfortable in a production shop creating furniture and limited product runs. Highly creative role, great learning space, and meaningful work.

Please welcome Chanel Griffen! Chanel is one of our newest team members stepping into the role of Seed to Plate Manager.

Bio: Chanel is passionate about food access and nutrition education. She has coordinated child nutrition programs in both rural and metro communities. Her background is in Nutritional Sciences with an emphasis on Community Nutrition from Oklahoma State University. She enjoys cooking with herb & spices along with talking about fiber & fermentation.

Quote: I love the work that Build Trybe has done over the years & it’s something that I had to be a part of! I am passionate about nutrition education and fighting against child hunger – which translate into equipping youth with tools that can be learned on the farm and in the kitchens.

On Monday, February 5th, we were delighted to host the Community Impact team from Dunn Construction at The Shop by Build Trybe. Build Trybe Director, Theo Bunch, led an insightful tour and discussed exciting plans for the Building Trades track in 2024.



We extend our heartfelt appreciation to JE Dunn Construction for their generous $15,600 grant recently awarded to Cornerstones of Care and Build Trybe. Their steadfast support over the past three years, including their sponsorship at Savor the Sound, has been invaluable to our youth who are training for a career in construction and building trades. Happy Thanksgiving!!! Our amazing volunteers, staff, and apprentices came together to feed over 160 people this holiday. So much gratitude to everyone. Huge shout out to those of you who donated pies and to those of you who gave us the gift of your time and energy.
