Welcome! I am glad you found your way to my page. At Dogs To Monkeys I try really hard to be as available as possible. I train just about any species of animal you need, however I do focus primarily on dogs and monkeys as my business name implies. Currently I have open business hours for clients on Tuesdays and Thursdays, so feel free to reach out if you need help! I am located just outside the KCMO area, and am happy to do in home training. For my primate clients that are out of state I do offer video training sessions which are 100% just as affective as in person training. I am currently still scheduling those on Tuesdays and Thursday’s.

Local dog clients are a first come first serve basis, but I do stick with my older clients first. What that looks like; if I have a client that I have been working with, they get first dibs each week on time slot. Then I call down my list snd fill in my slots as they called in to schedule. I focus on behavior first and foremost. While fun trick training is nice, my focus is on the health and well-being of your animals. I want your animals to be well behaved and mentally balanced in order for them to live long and healthy lives in your home.
I got started in this business to help keep dogs out of shelters and monkeys out of sanctuaries. There isn’t enough room in either of those and we all need these pets to stay in their original homes!
Please keep in mind that I am also a SAHM and will always put my children first. So please respect that as we begin our journey of helping your pet. I am with my kids anytime I am not working. And only have help on Tuesdays and Thursdays currently. When I do out of state, I bring my children and hire my MIL to come with me. She stays with the kids and does activities with them, while I work. So please do keep in mind for those needing me out of state or for long weekends, etc, that this is included in your cost of travel, is child care. With having kids who still nurse this is the only way to allow me to get to you! If you have questions on cost, it is situationally decided depending on needs. Please email me to get a quote.
Most importantly as Dave Womach says “every interaction is a training session” and please keep that in mind as you proceed with your pet, no matter the species. The work only begins with me, homework always follows!
