These animals were all found in Kansas City, MO on 07/14/2021 and will be held at KC Pet Project for a mandatory 5-day stray hold. If you believe one of these animals may be yours, please visit our Admissions Department at our main campus located at 7077 Elmwood Ave, KCMO 64132 during regular business hours (Mon. – Sat.: 9a-6p or Sun.: 9a-5p). With our new Reclaim Forgiveness Program, impoundment and daily boarding fees are subsidized by private donations if the owner reclaims the pet within the first 2 days of their stray hold period.

Btw 20% of what I make
on Audrey's Odds & ends will go to local pet rescues and no kill shelters just in case anyone was wondering what animal cruelty and pre owned retail items had to do with one another

Well.. met this 1.5 pound young man Friday night, we heard him crying next to a dumpster and Sassy Von Fancypants charged in to find the lil fella and came out with this hot little mess. Welcome Oscar (the grouch) aka Sir Dumpster, Lord of the trash.

Please help our mom was hit buy a car and we r orphans now can someone please help our human who discovered us all alone buried our mom gave us a temporary home we will be the best cats u have ever had we love our foster mom but she's got her hands full with all the other strays and with the 3 crazy dogs she has yuck dogs

Well today is the day I practice what I preach. And is the start of a very heart breaking journey I am beginning the process of rehoming my best friend maxie my heart is breaking but it's in his best interest my family isn't a good setup or match for him I thought I could make it work and with love and patience he would come around but I know now what truely out of my league means I have other pets a cat and two dogs and I have a boyfriend maxie is a one person dog he bonds with only one person he is a hybrid part Australian dingo/domestic also know as a Carolina dog he is a f2 which from what I have learned a second generation hybrid it's not fair to keep him where he could never be truely happy and I can't ask my bf or myself to re-home the other pets plus that still wouldn't solve the jealousy he has when my bf is around he is more of a woman's dog than anything he does not like kids and I have grand children we have had a close call with a friend's child but with me he is all love and no bite he is protective smart and always by ur side he was there when I needed him and seen me through some really bad times maybe he could see someone else through them as well I really wish there was a program for dogs and victims of domestic violence he would be perfect he would also be a great fit for a vet going through ptsd so here it goes if u r single living alone no kids and no other pets and u need a best friend my bff is just what u need and I will allow u to become his new purpose in life message me for more info or to start the process of rehoming maxie with his new and hopefully forever home maxie is two yrs old and the best dog in the world for pics of maxie refer to the comment section

hello everyone it's me your fearless leader of the site sorry I have not been in better contact with everyone I've had a lot going on family issues but trust me when I say my commitment to the cause of keeping our pets and are pet owners safe is still at the utmost of my priorities not to mention we've adopted a couple members who now join our little family we're up to 5 fur babies we have karma a little chihuahua we found abandoned and left in a bus with no food and water she's been there for five days in the cold I'd like to thank a friend of mine Rhonda who helped me along with Eric and let's not forget my wonderful boyfriend Gary they helped rescue and provide a home for this sweet little puppy. also my boyfriend Garys birthday was a few days ago and Rhonda decided to surprise him with a brand new puppy well I'm not familiar with puppies I've always gotten dogs or older need homes I know how hard they are to adopt out and I've always tried to make it my priority not to go get a brand new puppy but we have him now and he is a joy and a pain and we have a problem my dingo hybrid Maxie. if any of you have read the Maxie Chronicles you'll know all about him he has not taken kindly to this new puppy AND it has become a problem I am not getting no sleep and I'm forever watching over this pup I had an incident where I like a stupid person who knows better than to get between fighting dogs jumped in the middle of then and to grab the puppy up the puppy tried to take Maxis food I should have been paying more attention wasn't I didn't even realize the puppy and jumped off the bed and before I knew it the puppy was yelping Maxi had snapped at it scared him really bad he did not mind him but he scared him and scared me also scared a rat terrier Chihuahua mix Novi and she jumps off the bed and both of them are trying to do whatever I grab the puppy up on the bed and they both all jump on me trying to get to the puppy I was not hurt but the situation made me take notice and realize that I may be in a little bit over my head and need some help so please let me know if you have any advice it's not fair to keep them locked up or separated and I don't want to do that or to even get rid of one of them they are all precious to me and I love them and this was my fault and no one else's I cannot blame the dogs they were just acting as dogs do if you have any advice on how to make them all become friends I would really appreciate it if not I'm about to go to a behavioral specialist which I know will cost a fortune but well worth it if I have to tips on puppies would be great too potty training aggression issues the puppy seems to growl and when its way a lot and went doesn't get it to wait just a little angry so not sure how to approach that cuz since he is a brand new puppy best I also need information on when to warm up 8 week old puppy almost 9 and when you can put flea and tick meds on or something and I'll turn it into use all the information you can possibly give would be wonderful thanks a lot guys I'm looking forward to hearing your comments and suggestions all are very welcome.
