There is never a dull moment when Buddy gets his maintenance cuts! He growls and avoids eye contact with me the entire time until he sees/gets his bow tie around his neck. He knows it's go time once it's on! Plus he knows him's Mama's vehicle, obviously! 😂🤣😂

On the left is Bubba (6 years old) after he got his usual "fox trim" and on the right is Chewy (10 years old and the leader of the pack!!) after he got his hand scissored/dematting "marshmallow sculpture cut". These 2 are definitely two peas in a pod and after a couple of years of doing what I could with the time I was given per someone "else's" rules/schedule. They were finally able to get the time and attention they so deserve! Just look at those smiles. 🥰🤗✂️🚿🛁

September 1st is officially 🎃 Halloween 🎃 season! 💀🧟‍♀️👻🕷️ 🕸️ 😉 So it's time for "spooky" bow ties and bandanas again!! (My favorite!!) 💕 We'll be spreading the festivities until October 31st! 🥳🤗 I hope everyone is having a fantastic day!

Scooter (my Yorkie) was having some pretty crazy dreams last night causing him to cry twitch pretty aggressively so out of curiosity I checked around the internet for some scientific info on doggy dreams. I was so intrigued by the information I came across! Even fruit flies can have nightmares! It's just fascinating.

Got a call this morning. Morgan Freeman passed away this week from throat and mouth cancer. 💔 And although we are so sad to hear the news 😭😭😭 he did get his 1 last comfort groom. He was reunited with his mama wearing his fancy bow tie. God bless this little guy as he did absolutely incredible for his very last groom at 17 years old. Rest in Paradise my little buddy. 🙏 🕊️

It's been a super busy week!! We've had some new clients this week as well as some of my most favoritist regulars! The Lab/Mastiff mix is Ms. Patsi she is getting close to 10 years old and she is getting a little more comfortable each bath as long as she gets a chin scratchy for her troubles! 😉 The little black terrier mix is Morgan Freeman, he is 17 and did incredible the entire groom! 😳 The little tiny shih tzu is Little Miss. Tia age 12, who also did amazing during her first visit! And last but not least, the morkie is Molly and she is about 4 (I believe). 3/4 were comfort grooms and they didn't only just cooperate and behave themselves for their ages and circumstances but I think I even see a few smiles.. that is all I want and aim for! For them to be able to enjoy the grooming process when it's most difficult time of their life to get through. To feel better when they leave my care. And maybe get a "few" lovins here and there. 🤗 Your baby may not speak plain English, but pictures and their actions are worth a thousand words. Some people aim for designer breed/pure breed fancy haircuts and some just want their pets to be comfortable and clean. Either way I love dolling them up!! Thanks for looking! 🥰❤️🌹

This is Cheez! She is 18 years old and has had a pretty rough start in life. She is a rescued puppy mill mama and was given a better life and a second chance at age 7. She use to be pretty grouchy and didn't like any humans besides mama (let alone dog groomers). She has made so much progress and has traveled light years to get to this level of happy after a bath and haircut! She lost her right eye last year due to an infection and she can't see or hear very well but as you can see here, you're never too old for a good ole belly rub! 🥰🤗🚿✂️🛁

This is Remi (Royal Standard Poodle) Kepi (Egyptian Pharaoh Hound) and Annubus (Egyptian Pharaoh Hound). Remi has been my client since he was 12 weeks old. He is 3 now. Kepi and Annubus have been such an honor to groom for the last 3 years as well! These dogs (the eph's) are an extremely rare breed in the USA. I had never even heard of one before 2018 nor have I seen them in any of my grooming books. It actually took 17 years for my clients to find a eph breeder and they had to travel to Niagara Falls to get Kepi and Annubus as puppies! This particular breed is one of the oldest domesticated dog breeds ever recorded in history. They have been depicted in hieroglyphs in Ancient Egypt as far back as 4,000 bc. I adore all of my clients no matter what their breed is, no doubt! But I had to share their story and some fun facts since they are moving to Arizona today! 😭 Thank you Jan and John Weber for your support and sharing your babies with me over the years. Taco got all fancied up and beautified this morning! He is the first b&b this week with many more on the schedule! 🥰 Also- We do have a have client referral program so you get $10 off your next grooming service with a confirmed appointment from a friend/family member! 🙂 All they have to do is drop your name when they schedule their grooming service and bam it will be in the books and you save $10. These are the latest four certificates/awards I have achieved. I have multiple classes and credits in pet nutrition, flea, tick, and heartworm prevention, as well as 5 years of education and volunteer work through the Missouri Department of Conservation and Lakeside Nature Center. I definitely love to learn. Knowledge is power and hands on experience is priceless! I know that dogs can't read but you guys can. Thanks for checking it out! I hope to hang them up when I lease my own salon!! 🤞🤞🤞 Tons of hard work and dedication have gone into these babies! 🥰

This is Gracie. She is 16 1/2! So at this stage of her life fancy poodle cuts can take a while and require her to stand for long periods of time (and on 3 legs as I shave each foot individually). Well at 16 it's difficult for most dogs to do such a thing, so that's why we have "comfort" grooms. It's where the client and I discuss her health, skin, coat, and haircut goals, as well as what actually makes her comfortable without the expectations of an actual poodle cut. She still looks adorable, and I gave her a break in between the bath, blow drying, and haircut. She is in great shape for her age but health is #1 at this stage of her life. Also I use safe, natural shampoo as well as blueberry facial treatments. She had a wonderful day at the "spa"! Thanks for looking!
p.s. - (Furminator conditioner is not used on breeds that don't shed, I am just posting it as part of the advertisement)

Hi guys! I am a professional groomer venturing out on my own. With 6.5 years of grooming experience I aim to make my clients and their pet parents happy and comfortable in every way possible. I offer full grooming services including- bath and brush (using shampoo/conditioner specifically to enhance your pet's coat/color) external a**l gland expression, blow dry, nail trim/grind, clean ears, sanitary shaves, face/feet/fanny, breed specific haircuts, and comfort grooms. I have done mohawks, make bows, bow ties, and everyone gets a bandana! I paint their toe nails and can make them toes bling as well! (Upon request) I am also in the process of learning how to dye their hair with non toxic but vivid colors. 🚿🛁✂️🧴🪥🐶🐩🐕🐾🐕‍🦺
Grooming can be a scary and stressful experience for many of our furry best friends. Whether it's their very first bath as a puppy, first haircut, or maybe they have timid tendencies, some are elderly (when standing for long periods can be difficult) some dogs are terrified of heights and need to be held for their nail trim instead of being put on the table etc. I will always take the time needed for each pet individually to meet their unique requirements to feel comfortable with their grooming experiences throughout their lifetime. I have 7+ years of experience working at an animal clinic with the veterinarian as a vet assistant as well as completing grooming school. I am able to identify health related concerns and just want your pets to look and feel great their entire life! (I am not a veterinarian but can send you in the right direction!!) 😊
