It was a beautiful day for our last camp of the year!

There aren’t enough words to thank our barn helpers, interns, staff, and our friends at Royal Ridge Farm for their help and hard work. We are so grateful for an amazing sold out Summer Camp season!

Emily… selfishly, we have been sooo dreading this day. But, we know you will do great things, and we are so excited for your next chapter in college!!

Tomorrow will be Emily’s last day (for now) at the barn, our riders and families are welcome to come by tomorrow morning/early afternoon and say goodbye (for now)!

We had a great week at the Missouri State Fair Society Horse Show and Academy Championships!

Our performance horses and riders had some great classes as they set their sights on the Monarch Series Championship. We can’t wait to see Rylie and Katie hit the ring in Springfield, IL next month!

WTC Academy riders Chris and Ava made great progress in their classes, riding stronger in each of their four classes, upping their placings as the weekend went on. Look for these hard working ladies at Monarch as well!

Last, but not least, our first-time Academy rider Marin made us super proud as she navigated her classes and got some strong ribbons on the best guy, Louie! We look forward to more shows with Marin on our Academy team.

These fabulous ladies have volunteered their entire day every Thursday this summer- working camps, lessons, and barn chores. Their work ethic is incredible and we were happy to take a nice trail ride today as a “thank you!”

We decided to take a last minute trip to Longview yesterday, and we are so glad we did! Beautiful weather and great rides.

Katie and Supernova were great for a win in Katie’s first show in a suit.

Rylie had a beautiful ride on Annie, and Nugget showed excellent enthusiasm for his job in the show ring!

What a fun first summer Practice Show we had! Great turnout, nice weather, show classes, stick horse class, and lots of games on horseback!

Thanks to Casey Ling for coming out to judge. And a thank you to our staff, our clients, our friends at Royal Ridge Farm, and most of all to our horses, for having such a great sense of humor about all of our crazy ideas. We look forward to doing it again next month!

Our first full Thursday of group lessons at Royal Ridge Farm went off without a hitch! Thank you to our great clients and staff, and to Danielle and Brad for keeping everything running smoothly during our big move. The horses are loving the weather and new scenery! If your Academy rider is interested in joining our Academy Partial Lease program, reach out to Nicole for the latest information. We have a great group of Academy horses that are available to be leased to one or two riders (as long as the two riders are in different divisions or age brackets). Show season is coming up fast! 🥳

What a bittersweet day today is, as we celebrate Buffy’s last day of camp! Buffy has had an illustrious career as a show horse, broodmare, and most importantly, as one of our best lesson horses ever! We are so happy that she will soon be able to begin her much deserved retirement!
