Trappers Cleora Bayless helping rescue a standard poodle who made it from 5th & I70 clear to 38th & I70 via the RR tracks. She saw the dog after dropping one off at the shelter and called the owners to get them quickly onsite.

It’s been quite a week. Dog reported on the side of the road. Dog reported dumped at swope park. Come to find out 2 dogs were dumped. 3 for 3

Got a message from Aimee Mountjoy that the owners of a quarry had a loose dog on property. Pretty sure it was one reported around the same area Oct 2. We were definitely going to need a bigger trap. Crystal Carney met me there and the dog seemed scared but friendly taking food from our hands. So a few pieces of delicious food and alleyoop, slip lead attached. This sweet unaltered male, no chip detected knows sit, stay and loves fetch.
Will be at kcpp today.

Gotcha!
This sweet girl was left behind at a hotel 10/31 when her owners were trying to flee the bill. Overland park Animal Control tried to catch her but she was close to the highway and at risk. She was seen on camera that night, but never came back. Days later a post was made about a dog at a feral cat feeding station. Low and behold it was this girl!! She’s safe tonight.
