Happy summer everyone! Just a reminder that we take no calls/no shows very seriously around here! Our groomers are valued and so is their time and money! If you don't show up, they don't get paid as they work on commission! If you want lucy the lab in sooner than your appointment with us and get in at a different business and don't call to cancel you WILL have a mark by your name! If you get too many marks you are prepay only or 3rd time is fired! This is common courtesy! Also, if you want to not have to worry about trying to always squeeze in same week or day (yes, we do have those too) then you can always pre-book to save YOU and our groomers the headache of getting yelled at for not having something tomorrow for your pretty pooch because you realized tomorrow was a holiday and you had family coming into town!! 🙂

Happy New Year to all of our clients! We hope you had a wonderful holiday season. We have been keeping very busy and plan for another successful year at The Groom Gallery! We are opened back up in full swing (after being a bit short staffed) and ready to rock and roll!!!
We are open 7 days a week and do offer some evening appointments at some locations. We are still going to be tightening the reins on our rules as well. You must have UPDATED proof of rabies BEFORE your appointment and be able to provide them as well. This is NOT our groomers responsibility as they do not own your dog! :) We keep good notes on no calls and no shows as well as your history with your rabies. If you are a repeat offender you will be fired from our locations as every time you miss your appointment our groomers lose money and it takes a spot away from someone else! Please be considerate of your groomers time as it is very important to our business, them and their families!

*VERY IMPORTANT INFO-PLEASE READ!!!*
We saw this clip and wanted to remind everyone that this also goes along with the grooming. There is a shortage of groomers nationwide and paired up with the pandemic, being closed during pandemic for 2 months (as deemed not essential) AND so many people getting a new dog or 2, your groomers are putting in so much extra work and hours to try and keep customers happy! It is not news to any of us that there is a shortage of people working EVERYWHERE!
Now for the ugly part. Our groomers are being yelled at, cussed at and hung up on daily for not being able to get a dog in same day, same week and for just being booked out! On top of that we are also getting upset customers that THEY don't have THEIR dogs rabies updated AND have proof! It would be like going to the doctor without YOUR insurance card.
We will NO LONGER tolerate the rude customers! We will not service your dog if you are disrespectful in any way, shape or form. We have to protect our employees, their sanity and our business!
We will also no longer tolerate no calls-no shows. You will be put on a 3 strike, you're out scenario and on the 2nd time will have you prepay to have a service performed at our business and the 3rd time you will be fired! We do keep very good notes and will be strict to accommodate all of our customers. Our groomers work so hard and are commission based and if you don't show for your appointment they can't make money for their family! We are locally and family owned and operated so this hits hard for us!

We would hope you understand as you would not tolerate it at your business as well!

Please understand that we value your business and the companionship with your pet. Thanks for understanding! :)

We apologize for being super awesome! HA! Who are we kidding, no we don't! ;)
Just as a reminder, please make sure you are pre booking and/or calling ahead to schedule your dog as we stay booked regularly and are having upset customers that they can't come in TODAY!
Also, it is not our groomers responsibility to make sure your rabies are updated and that you bring proof!
We do book by appointment, so please make sure to arrive on time and due to high demand, late appointments may not be accepted to stay on schedule thoughtout the day.

As always, thanks for supporting and shopping local! A year ago this week we had to close due to Covid so please know we are thankful for you all!!!

Hello everyone!! We have really missed you all and our furry friends!
We will be opening in May and just started booking! We are filling up VERY quickly as you can imagine as most pets are way behind on their appointments!
As a reminder we DO have 6 locations and if 1 is busier than the other please try 1 of our other shops and get back in to your normal spot next time! We also want to thank you for shopping your local, family owned business!!!
Please call the grooming shop to set up your appointment and don't be alarmed if you get voicemail as we aren't there and working all day yet! :) We will return your calls within 24 hours. 913.261.9303
We will have new protocols to make it safe, quick and easy for your and our groomers! Please limit customers to 1 at a time inside the shop as we will be cleaning our checkouts in between. We feel this is safer than curbside so we are not touching the doors of your vehicles and then the handles of the front door and everything in between in the mean time.
We will have a hook in place inside to attach your dog to with their collar on and we will grab once you are gone OR we can put a slip lead over your dog and you take the leash and collar.
We ask for patience as this is new for all of us! You can either pay over the phone when we call to let you know your pet is done (you can slide your own card). Cash will be accepted BUT change will not be made, we apologize for the inconvenience.

Phew, now that we got all of the do's and don'ts out of the way we can't wait to get back to the regularly scheduled program of pampering your pets!! Thanks and see you soon!!!

Hey all you cool pups and kittens!!

We hope that you all are staying safe and sane out there. We sincerely miss seeing you and your furry babies but we are continuing to do our part and following Gov. Kelly's state wide Shelter at Home Order.
With dates and CDC recommendations ever changing we wanted to keep you updated. By the order we are to remain closed until the order is lifted for both our state and county. Our tentative reopen date is currently May 2nd. We will keep everyone up to date as we receive more information.
Never fear though, as soon as we are able we will be up and running! We cant wait to get back to making your pets beautiful, once again! If you have an appointment current on the schedule, we will be accommodating as soon as we reopen. Please don't give up on us!
Thank you all for being loyal and supporting our small business! We encourage everyone to shop local in these unprecedented times.

IMPORTANT UPDATE!!!

In light of the current “Stay Home” Orders The Groom Gallery will be closing for 14 days to do our part to flatten the curve and encourage everyone to stay home and stay healthy. We will reopen April 7th and will be working to reschedule any appointments that are currently booked between now and then.

This decision did not come easy as we love what we do and appreciate all of our clients! The health and safety of you, your pets and our employees is our top priority. With that in mind we felt that this was the most responsible course of action.

Our plan is to make this time as simple and smooth as we can by simply pushing any current appointment for 3/24-4/6 out two weeks. Same day of the week, same time... just two weeks later. If this does not work with your schedule, please feel free to reach out and we will make every possible accommodation.

Fear not, we will be back before you know it!

Good Morning everyone!

We here at The Groom Gallery wanted to reach out and address Coronavirus (COVID-19). Our mission is to provide the safest environment for you and your pets while they are in our care. With that in mind we would like to remind you that we take health and cleanliness very seriously at all times.

- Both the WHO and the CDC have stated that domestic animals are not at risk of contacting or transmitting COVID - 19.

-We clean and disinfect throughout the day and at the beginning and end of each day.

-We have hand sanitizer available for your use when handling money or using our payment system.

-The health and safety of our clients and our staff is paramount, because of that groomers that are ill are asked to stay home. We will work to make sure that any absences will have the smallest affect on our availability and access of services.

- If you, our Friends and Clients, feel the need to reschedule a current appiontment, please call and we are happy to accommodate. We all have those in our lives or even in our homes that may be at risk and we are needing to protect.

As always, if you have any questions or concerns, please feel free to reach out and we are happy to answer any questions.

Well, happy (belated) new year to all of our fabulous Groom Gallery customers!!! We apologize for the lack of posts on social media but all 6 of our shops have been crazy busy!!! We appreciate all of you and thank you for such wonderful animals to share our days with!
We also wanted to update everyone on a few policies we need to stick to! Our groomers are commission based, meaning if you don't show up for your appointment, they don't make money. All of our shops have waiting lists of people wanting to get in but if we have no calls/no shows we can't get these people in and booked. We will be very diligent on making sure that all NCNS customers get 2 strikes with a warning, 3rd strike is prepay only and 4th strike we will no longer be able to book you moving forward! We don't for see this being a problem but just wanted to let you all know so we can take care of our employees AND customers together!
We look forward to a busy winter already and growing again in the near future!!! Thanks again for being the best customers and shopping family/locally owned! Please also know that we DO give back to schools and communities in all surrounding areas of EACH 6 shops locations!

We hope everyone has been having a great summer. We apologize for not posting for awhile, but we have been swamped!!!
All 6 locations are booked out 1-3 weeks. We can't stress enough to prebook your appointments in advance. Please also be considerate of cancellations as we require at least 48 hours so we can fill those spots. PLEASE also remember we need to check proof of rabies for your appointments!

In the next 24 hours I will have baskets up at all 6 of our shop locations taking donations to deliver to BLHS for this affected at the end of the week. Here is the path and a pic of what Linwood looks like. We have a huge client base (from Bonner and KCK Groom Gallery shops) as well as friends. Please help us, help our neighboring communities!!!
