I had the pleasure of meeting this sweet Dobie boy today for a nail trim! He was super sweet and as you can tell from the blurry pictures, very excited! He was so well behaved and absolutely made my day!

This is my 2nd personal dog, Banjo!
The first time I did his nails, he bit me HARD. Didn't break skin, but left a pretty good bruise 😖 on my arm AND my ego.

He's been with us since November 2021 and never been a fan of nails. What you see in this video is the result of a relationship built on trust and respect. He's obviously showing signs of stress such as lip licking, yawning, and slight whale eyes, so I need to read the situation and when he's had enough, we take a break and he gets lots of praise!
We got 2 paws done in about 2 minutes and we'll revisit the back 2 in a bit!

The most super satisfying nail trim & grind of the week!

This little guy was freshly rescued, so he was a little stressed and needed to be cuddled during, but we got it done and he'll be back in a couple weeks!

Today was hard 😭
This is Oreo, my FAVORITE Sheltie. She's 13 and I see her every 4 weeks for nails and a tidy up.
Today, she had a huge mass on her b***y that wasn't there last month. My first thought was internally ruptured a**l glands. Mom took her to the vet immediately and reached out to report it's actually a tumor and they're going to go ahead and operate.
I'm praying Oreo makes it, but the sedation alone is a LOT for an old dog to go through, let alone the recovery 😔

Pray for Oreo, her 2 fur brothers and the rest of her family please and cuddle your own pups a little extra ❤️

This is Elvis & Madison!
Elvis' previous owner passed away and he had to be caught a couple days later by animal control and spend a little time in a shelter. He went on to a foster home where he was attacked by the resident dogs and cat 😔 Elvis is hyper aware of his surroundings constantly and doesn't know how to relax. He also guards resources like food and his human.

By the end of our one hour session today, Elvis was walking loosely on the leash and checking in with Madison instead of reacting to other out of control dogs walking nearby. 🙌
Madison is an awesome human and wants her dog to learn to relax and that she's got this.
I LOVE working with people who are willing to put in the work it takes to help their dog!

Old boy came in for a much needed de-shed, but taking this much length off these nails was so satisfying and I just KNOW he feels a million times better!

I got to meet the sweetest kitty for a nail trim today!
This is Tote! He has an awesome adoption story and was so super friendly, he even greeted me at the door! This boy and his mom made my day!

Nail trim day at home for our cats and ferrets!
This is Slash and his nails grow SO FAST. He's an excited scratching post type of cat and ends up with splitting and breakage if his nails aren't trimmed regularly.

Matting is super painful and can cause a variety of health issues. Please, if you have a long/curly coated dog, brush them! If you aren't sure if you're brushing properly, reach out for tips!
