One thing that i bet almost every urban farmer experiences is the magnetization of so many neighborhood strays to their farm..that is certainly our case. So far we’ve been caring for and feeding these adorable little friends and have loved doing it, but unfortunately small farms don’t have much in the way of “excess funds” and I’ve just been tacking the costs on to our credit card balances. So it’s time to start fundraising and gathering resources. I will be formalizing a “friends of the farm cats” donation and volunteer program, but for the time being, if you have a few dollars you could spare, or some extra cat food, flea/dewormer medication, etc, myself and our feral feline friends would be oh so grateful. There’s a link in our bio to pitch in some funds (just my personal account at the moment), or if you’d like to drop off any food/medicine just drop off on our porch at 4139 Highland Ave in KCMO. Thank you ❤️

Not yet to the point where he/she will eat mozzarella outta my hand, but we’re getting there. Also thank you to everyone who came out to pizza night! We’ll be doing at least one more, next week!

Its official! Just dropped a load of credit card debt on this year’s seeds (at least most of em, still need to hit up @the_buffalo_seed_company ). If you’re interested in hopping on our Spring CSA or picking up some seedlings those will be going live this week! Onward and upwards (and downwards if you’re a plant)!
