Ripping out our one bed of eggplant after that first frost killed off the plants. Excited to pickle these little fruit whole, with some sweet peppers and herbs :)

Another batch of kittens , these 3 i found abandoned in our shed a few days ago, and just gave them a bath…i think they’re happy to be clean…lots of caked on grime and flea p**p without their mother around to clean them. I don’t think these were from Cheryl, the mother of the kittens from the previous post, as these are a couple weeks older and Cheryl very much did not recognize them when i tried to pawn them off on her. I’ve been bottle feeding them, thankfully they’re into the weening formula, so no more bottles. Most of the resident strays have gone in for their TNR, just a couple more to go, but as you can see, the farm is a popular spot for neighborhood strays to take up residence. Please help with our TNR program if you can. Link in bio to donate. I’ve spend lots of money that i don’t have trying to get these cats the care they need. I’ll be posting soon about adoption opportunities. Thank you!

Mama Cheryll’s last litter (she sneakily holed up and gave birth before i could bring her in for TNR). After the little ones are weaned off she’ll go to with these new kittens following soon after.

Despite our white fly and aphid issue (trying to resolve with some organic options), things are looking up this summer. Thankful for a super hardworking field crew putting in the work on these hot days to grow some beautiful crops (like this nice long truss of sakura cherry tomatoes 😍)
