The farm is located near Kansas City Missouri and we raise a wide variety of peafowl colors. At the present time we have the following colors: Blue, White, Cameo, Bronze, Charcoal, Opal, Purple, Peach, Midnight, Jade, Taupe and Violeta. The color patterns that are being worked with at the farm include Wild Pattern “Barred Wing”, Black Shoulder “Solid Wing”, Pied, White-Eyed and Silver Pied. One o

f the things that Legg’s Peafowl likes is to be able to work on making new varieties of peafowl that will make an impact on the peafowl industry. Here at the farm we also love to work with genetics that will help us add the peafowl patterns available into the new peafowl colors. Legg’s Peafowl is striving to be on the leading edge of the peafowl industry. I am fortunate enough to have a wife and children who also enjoy the peafowl. This interest with peafowl started about 40 years ago when I was 10 years old. I was raised on a large farm and had a neighbor that had a peacock that ran loose. My parents would visit them and I just loved the beautiful bird. As I grew up I knew that some day I would have some peafowl. Our neighbor’s son helped me find someone that raised peafowl and bought some eggs during that summer. From those eggs we hatched about 10 chicks. By the time I was sixteen I had India Blue, Black Shoulder, White, Pied, and a couple of years later came the cameo color. Over the next 30 years a lot has happened with new colors and patterns that have evolved. Our family has been blessed with the fun that the peafowl has given to us and hope that you enjoy your peafowl as well. Please enjoy our web site as you browse through it. We have arrived in Mt Hope Ohio for the Mid Ohio Auction. There isn't a better place to be for a live in person poultry auction. Thousands of peafowl will sell Thursday and Friday. If you are in need of some great peafowl, from the more common to the rarest of rare, look no further. We will have a great selection of adult long tails to sell as well as breeder hens in various varieties.
Super selection of 2023 yearlings also.
Nice group of highlight breeder males to choose from. Come spend a couple of days with peafowl friends from all over America. This is our 30th year to this event. This auction will start closing on Sunday, March 10th, at 9 am central standard time. Sunday is also daylight savings time change. Time moves ahead one hour.
There is a max bid option for the bidders to utilize on the lot (s) when the bidding gets hectic on Sunday. This way, you won't miss bidding on the lot (s) if they are close together.
Lot 1 will close at 9 am. If a bid is received in the last 90 seconds, the close time will be extended another 90 seconds until no bidding in 90 seconds. The next lot will not close before the preceded lot is closed.

Welcome to the Leggs Peafowl Farm Online Auction. What an Opportunity in the Peafowl Industry. We have a great group of peafowl listed for the sale starting tomorrow. Highlight of the auction is Lot 1, Ultramarine yearling male. The most colorful mutation probably in history. You have the opportunity to own the first one ever offer at auction. This male is also a carrier or "split" to
Black Shoulder pattern. It is a simple recessive color. The parent birds were
imported in the spring of 2023.
Another bird from our imported group last year is Lot 3, European Violet yearling male. This is a sex-linked recessive color. Another first of this color to be offered at auction. Browse thru the offering at all the varieties. Many of these birds can be a headliner in your aviary's.
