We have arrived in Mt Hope Ohio for the Mid Ohio Auction. There isn't a better place to be for a live in person poultry auction. Thousands of peafowl will sell Thursday and Friday. If you are in need of some great peafowl, from the more common to the rarest of rare, look no further. We will have a great selection of adult long tails to sell as well as breeder hens in various varieties.

Listed are a few reminders: The Buy It Now option will be removed Saturday evening.
This auction will start closing on Sunday, March 10th, at 9 am central standard time. Sunday is also daylight savings time change. Time moves ahead one hour.
There is a max bid option for the bidders to utilize on the lot (s) when the bidding gets hectic on Sunday. This way, you won't miss bidding on the lot (s) if they are close together.
Lot 1 will close at 9 am. If a bid is received in the last 90 seconds, the close time will be extended another 90 seconds until no bidding in 90 seconds. The next lot will not close before the preceded lot is closed.

Welcome to the Leggs Peafowl Farm Online Auction. What an Opportunity in the Peafowl Industry. We have a great group of peafowl listed for the sale starting tomorrow. Highlight of the auction is Lot 1, Ultramarine yearling male. The most colorful mutation probably in history. You have the opportunity to own the first one ever offer at auction. This male is also a carrier or "split" to
Black Shoulder pattern. It is a simple recessive color. The parent birds were
imported in the spring of 2023.
Another bird from our imported group last year is Lot 3, European Violet yearling male. This is a sex-linked recessive color. Another first of this color to be offered at auction. Browse thru the offering at all the varieties. Many of these birds can be a headliner in your aviary's. Exciting announcement.
This spring we did a second importation of European Colors of peafowl. We now have breeding pairs of Ultramarine, Raw Umber, Prussian Blue Black Shoulder, European Violet and Spalding European Violet. They have all produced peachicks this year. We are blessed to get them here into the U.S.A. These new color genetics from Europe will be a boost into our breeding program. Pictures will be available later when they are through their molt and their trains are fully back in. We are already planning for next year!!

What an exciting time last week in Mt Hope Ohio at the Alternative Livestock Auction. We would like to say thank you to all the bidders and buyers of our peafowl. It was great visiting with so many people. Congratulations to Jeff Partridge and Clay Siertsema of Ontario Canada for purchasing the all-time high selling peafowl at auction. A Spalding Peach breeder male for $2200. He had lots of lookers throughout the auction.

ULTRAMARINE
Exciting new color.
Thank you Els in the Netherlands for finding the mutant bird that started this new venture.
After nearly a decade patiently waiting for these birds, they have arrived. A big thank you to Brandon, Lyndi Legg and family for picking up this group of beautiful birds.
They drove straight through from Miami FL, 26 hrs to get them to our farm. Brad delivered some of these to Bill Vinduska of Spring Creek Peafowl that afternoon. Best of luck to them with the birds. What an exciting new color to work with in the coming years!

Each package listed consists of eight peachicks. On the assortment packages, the varieties of peachicks that will be shipped are at the discretion of Legg’s Peafowl Farm. Every effort will be made to send the largest assortment of varieties as possible due to the hatch at shipping time. Peachicks are sold as straight run only. Purchases will be shipped according to the varieties of chicks hatched at one time. If for some reason the order is not filled at the end of the season, money will be returned at that time. Legg’s Peafowl Farm reserves the right to substitute peachicks. If this is necessary you will receive a bird (s) of more value. Sorry we cannot take orders for specific varieties of peachicks.

We do not ship peachicks outside of the 48 continental United States.

Live Delivery Guarantee

We at Legg’s Peafowl Farm guarantee that live and healthy peachicks will be received upon delivery. Please open the shipping box immediately at the post office to check on the peachicks. This must be done if an insurance claim is needed for any loss of chick or chicks. If there is a loss, have your postal agent sign your statement of loss while at post office and send to us within 3 days of delivery. Getting the insurance refund seems slow and does take some time.

The breeding flock at Legg’s Peafowl Farm are kept in the upmost of health. Our flock is part of the USDA Animal Health Services, National Poultry Improvement Plan (NPIP).
