We got to use our new expo vehicle for the first time this weekend. This was a long overdue upgrade for our business and is a serious game changer. As we are traveling to expos more often as a whole family, space was a serious constraint for us. Well, not any more! We’ll show some updates after we get our logo on the van. We’ll likely do some DIY vinyl to start and then get it professionally done at some point later on.

Breeding “season” is in full swing over here at SSR! We’re really starting to ramp up our pairings and getting even more excited about the possibilities in 2025! Here are some of the successful introductions we’ve had so far this weekend:

(4) Cypress Leopard Clown X Stranger Fire Yellowbelly 100% Het Clown

(5) Pastel Leopard Desert Ghost (shedding) X Paint/Sentinel

(6) Super Mahogany Pied X Blackhead Cinnamon 100% Het Pied

(7) Black Pastel VPI Axanthic 100% Het Desert Ghost X Super Pastel (pos. Enchi) Desert Ghost Clown (in shed)

(8) VPI Axanthic Pied X Leopard 100% Double Het VPI Axanthic Pied

(9) Hurricane Clown X GHI Fire Clown

It’s really hard for us to pick out our favorite pairing from these nine. Maybe pairing #4 just because that could produce a variety of really nice Clown combos. Can you pick out a favorite pairing?? If so, we’d love to hear!

Then while all this is going on, we have 20 ball python clutches in the incubator that’ll all be hatching within the next 60 days. And we just had another small litter of Kenyan sand boas born this week. We’ll share pics of them in the next week or two after they’ve all shed out. 🤗

We didn’t hit the Genetic Stripe Clown combos we were hoping for in this clutch either. Overall, the results were very similar to our last clutch we recently shared. Fortunately we have one more similar clutch in the incubator due to hatch next month. Maybe third times a charm?? 🤞

Pairing was a male Black Pastel Redstripe (possible Carnage) Double Het Gstripe Clown to a female Double Het.
