🎣 🐠 CATFISH BILLY NEEDS YOU! 🎣 🐠
Guys! This is Catfish Billy. He was picked up as a stray in Drexel, MO. No one came to claim him. 🥹We took him in, got him shots, heartworm tested, tick tested, microchipped and neutered. His bloodwork wasn't bad except it did show he has ehrlichia disease, which isn't curable but is managed with medication if he has a flair up. CB has now been in boarding for 12 days. During this time, his front leg swelled up. We did more testing and believe that CB was bitten by a spider. The vet had to sedate him, drain the puss, and insert a drain tube.
Today when we visited him his leg was much better and he's in his same happy place. We only have room at the clinic until June 22nd for him. He has to be moved out. Can you foster? Please apply at www.lucky13rescue.org/foster-1.

CATFISH BILLY NEEDS A FOSTER!
CB was found as a stray this past week, no chip, no one came to claim him. He’s smelly, he’s covered in huge ticks but this boy is a happy boy. His tail wags non-stop. Non-reactive to other dogs. He was found a a playground that kids were playing at. Cats have not been tested. He’s 50lbs.
Can you bust him out of boarding? We cover all supplies and pay all of his vet bills. You just give him a cool house, snuggles and all the hugs you can.
