She was recently adopted and tragically her person suffered a severe medical emergency leaving him unable to care for her. So she came back to us. Let’s heal her broken heart and find her another person.

We currently have 8 moms with 31 kittens weaning off of nursing, plus dozens more in foster already weaned🙀
We’re going through lots and lots of kitten food. Small cans, big cans chicken or whitefish flavor. Any Litten Wellness donations are a blessing.

We are thrilled to say King chose his purrrrrfect hooman. He took to his new momma in a way we hadn’t seen. We are so very happy for him, and we just know he’s going to have a lifetime of cuddles, loves and purrrrs. 😻

Herman is 11 pounds of luv bug ❤️ At about 3 years old he was abandoned at one of our local colleges. The resident kitties were beating him up unmercifully 😿 He’s a lover not a fighter💕
Herman is neutered, microchipped, vaccinated, flea/worm treated and FIV positive.

Happy New Year ! 🎉🥳 We hope everyone had a wonderful holiday season and that your 2024 will be purrrrfect 😻.
We are so grateful for your support over the years, which allows us to continue to provide cat spay/neuter services to our community. We had a little hitch in our clinics when we lost our long time surgery vet, yet still managed to provide surgery for over 2000 cats during the 2022/2023 season.
In addition we found homes for hundreds of cats and kittens through our adoption events at Hawai‘i Preparatory Academy, Petco - Kona, the new Kona Kat Cafe and at our facility in Kapa’au. All of this because of you, your kindness and generosity. Mahalo Nui Loa

Our sweet little Sasha was so excited to hear she was heading off to Portland ! Her blindness doesn’t stop her, she loves to play and is a super sweetheart. She’s in foster care Tiny Tim’s Tiny Foster Family awaiting the purrrrfect furever home. We spend around $200 for each kitty we send to the mainland, they’re worth it.

Blind Bertram and his partially blind sister Bertha flew off to the mainland today where a special needs rescue will find them the purrrrfect forever home. ❤️ Bertha was being camera shy but Bertram was having a ball, he’s got the travel bug 😹 He totally enjoyed the new sounds and smells at the Kona airport, until exhaustion hit and he crashed out hanging out of his carrier 🤦🏻‍♀️. Then he got his second wind when drink/snack service started on the plane.

Thank you to everyone who volunteered to es**rt these very special kitties. Next up are Sasha and Quincy who will be flying out over the next couple weeks.

Thank you to everyone who offered to help. Sasha still needs to go but I think we have enough wonderful people who volunteered, that we’ll get her there soon too. 😻

Bertram, Bertha and Sasha have an opportunity to go to an organization on the mainland for blind kitties.
We’re looking for passengers flying from Kona to Portland Oregon anytime after Thanksgiving, willing to carry a kitty on board in the cabin with you. You would have to give up 1 carry on item and add the kitty on to your reservation. The fee is $150 which we pay, so no cost to you.
3 passengers on the same flight would be amazing!

Update : Adopted 😻

This hunk of love is Nittany. A Turkish Van, he’s so handsome and pretty unique. Today his siblings Salem and Stitch got adopted, leaving poor Nittany alone 😿. Raised with respectful dogs and multiple cats, he’d be a great addition to your family. Nittany is it Petco - Kona.
