Gold Mine Boers International did very well over the weekend. 3 bucks entered, all got placed 1st and or 2nd in their class ( 2 shows) and our young buck Big Jim (11 months old) a direct son out of 2M Jim Bean out of a Fixin To Party grand daughter, took the Division Championship and the Overall Reserve Championship (bred by my friend Steve Blankership). We are proud of all 3 Jr Studs Performances.

PRIVILEGED- to be able to compete and placed against some of the top animals in the country.
HONORED - to be showing under and judged by one of my idols Terry Taylor.
HUMBLED- as I watched my son showing intense interest, then watching my wife and daughter assisting and cheering me on.
ANGRY- because I promised myself that I’d pull up these boys and start conditioning them after Thanksgiving 2023 but instead I procrastinated till after January 2024.
IMPRESSED- that GMBI genetics is still able to compete at major shows with limited input

Some amazing animals were shown by hardworking and passionate breeders and to be part of this experience is continually humbling.
