Today Isaiah dropped off his Puppy Dough cupcakes to Waggin' Tails Pet Ranch and while he was there he met Scott Chapman of 🍰! Thank you for being a customer of Isaiah's Puppy Dough business!

Isaiah started working on making fresh Puppy Dough treats last night. Everything was baked and iced for this morning. The Howl-o-ween event at the Katy City Dog Park had a fun costume contest. And by the end of the day, all of the Puppy Dough was sold out!

A big thank you to everyone at the Katy Area Chamber of Commerce Business to Business Expo today. Some of the highlights include:
- Introducing the new Puppy Dough cupcakes (they were a hit!)
- Pairing up with Denise Pairsh Einkauf with Waggin' Tails Pet Ranch to donate one of the raffle items
- Being able to skip school (Sorry Principal Glasser)
- Hanging out with PaPa
- Trying to look over the podium (when no one was watching)
- Meeting awesome people and taking pictures with Gina Hicks, City of Katy Councilmember Ward B, Glenn Hamer (President/CEO of the Texas Association of Business), Matthew Ferraro (President/CEO of the Katy Area Chamber of Commerce), and so many more that Isaiah didn't get a chance to get a picture with.
- Completing the passport punch card. (He was on a mission.)

Last night Isaiah attended the Katy Area Chamber of Commerce - After Hours event. He wanted to go because it was a great opportunity for him to promote his business and it was at one of his favorite places to go, Typhoon Texas Houston ... Who are we kidding, mostly because it was at Typhoon Texas!

He got to see the water park before they filled it up with water and he even won tickets for this summer! He already has a season pass for this year so pay attention because Isaiah will be giving these tickets away soon!

Last summer, 7-year-old Isaiah Hodge decided he wanted an electric unicycle. When his dad told him he’d have to pay for it himself, Isaiah launched a successful dog treat business.

Between celebrating his sister's 3 year old birthday and losing the 2nd of his middle teeth, Isaiah was still able to deliver new supplies to Waggin' Tails Pet Ranch

We wanted to share the story behind Isaiah's Puppy Dough, how it started and what we do and don't do for him.

Our goal was to:
- Find a way to challenge him over the summer
- Make sure he created something unique that he could do on his own
- Learn about the process of running a business
- Let him make his own decisions along the way
- Give him the option of continuing on or stopping at any point
- Teach him the importance of giving back to the community

Special shoutout to KIDPRENEURS , Waggin' Tails Pet Ranch and Katy Area Chamber of Commerce They have been instrumental for his development in running the business.

Through this process we've seen him get comfortable making videos, learn to talk to adults, learn how to handle rejection, and see what happens when he focuses on and accomplishes a task.

Me, his mom, his uncle, and his Nana and Papa are so proud of Isaiah. Keep up the great work buddy!
