You can research all day long...but sometimes it still happens.

I know Angela from Sweet Giants Maine C**ns Cattery, and I absolutely LOVE her. We have supported each other since the day we started this crazy cat lady journey together. As breeders, we do a TON of research before we add a kitty to our program. Unfortunately, no amount of research could have saved my sweet friend from this situation. Be careful, y'all!

I ❤️ a well designed photo shoot. Don’t get me wrong. My sweet friend, Dionne Selig, helps me with the creative stuff, and she does an amazing job!! 📸

But…sometimes the cutest pictures happen when we are just living life! 😊

Bo and Luke, 🐈‍⬛the Duke brothers🐈‍⬛ (yes, I’m showing my age and I’m okay with that 🤷🏼‍♀️) are almost 4️⃣ weeks old, and they are 💯% chunk and fluff! They are both so loving and cuddly. 🤗 Someone better reserve them fast or I’ll never let them go!

All good things must come to an end, right?🥹This stunning girl is looking for her forever home!🏡

I am retiring my beautiful queen, 👑 Iris 👑 . She's perfect in every way! She has been an incredible momma, and it is time for her to live the rest of her sweet little life as a lap cat 🥰(which is all she wants to do anyway). She is definitely a lover and is very well socialized with other cats, dogs, and people.

Iris is 5 years young (7/12/2018). She is getting spayed tomorrow, as well as having her teeth all cleaned up so she will be ready for her forever home very soon!🤩🤩

If you've been in the market for a Maine C**n, but the kitten market is a bit of a stretch for you, consider a retired king or queen! You will not regret that decision at all!

I almost always co-breed. 🤔 What that means is I will almost always have two mommas nursing at one time. Not only is this incredible insurance for the health of the kittens, but the bond these mommas share during this time is absolutely amazing! These two girls aren’t always BFF, but right now, they are inseparable. ❤️

I’ve introduced a new king into my program.
Literally!

Meet 👑 Kingsley 👑!

King is absolutely stunning!! He doesn’t belong to me (although I like to pretend like he does), but he visits the cattery often. He belongs to my dear friend who needed an excuse to import a Maine C**n….so we came up with one! 🥰

King has been through all of the testing required to be part of my breeding program, and he passed with flying colors! He has also had an X-ray on his muzzle to ensure the slight “lag” on one side is not skeletal, and it’s not. He’s just PERFECT WITH THAT GRUMPY FACE! 😍

The best part?? We have baby Kings in the making RIGHT NOW! Stay tuned! I think 🎅 will get a run for his money this Christmas. 🎄

We had a fairly calm summer, and now we are back to the grind!

Iris had a complicated pregnancy, but I’m thrilled to show of my sweet ❤️Mimi❤️!! She is 3 weeks old and already over a pound. She’s a little chunkster and I’m obsessed! 😍

☀️ One of the highlights of our summer! ☀️

Anyone remember “Lion” from my World Cup litter? He was just a little guy. NOT ANYMORE!🦁

Lion’s name is Griffin now, and I’m beyond lucky that his parents let him come stay with me while they went on vacation. It took him about an hour to remember us, but once he did, game on!

He’s only 7 months (almost) and all I can say is WOW! 😍😍 You will have to look through a few baby pictures before the big reveal!
