She was found roaming around the YMCA on Main St. on 2/6/25. She has the cutest Bassett Hound like body with a Bulldog head. She is young 1-2 years old, shy but blossoms with attention. She is the perfect “lap” dog!

She is having a hard time with the noisy shelter environment and really needs a foster home. Please reach out to us to come and meet her. Laptop is so adorable!

We are a small shelter located in Katy, Tx just outside of Houston. We do all that we can to find loving forever homes for the pets at our shelter. Right now we just have dogs. These are the dogs that have been waiting the longest for a chance at freedom.

Black dogs, older dogs, female dogs that had babies and their bodies are still adjusting, big dogs and mix breed dogs get overlooked looked the most.

PLEASE help us by taking a look at our pets and even other shelter dogs before you “shop” for a dog or cat. Thank you! 💙💖

Ideal forever home: any size family that will let her be a puppy and teach her how to be a puppy with love (her first owner didn’t give her that 😭).

Fun fact: Lucy first arrived scared and in a shell but with love and patience of staff and volunteers, Lucy has blossomed into a confident pup!

Ideal forever family: any size family- Ricky is amazing with kids and other dogs. He is just a great cuddler!

Fun fact: Ricky likes to wear accessories like headbands! At one event he wore reindeer antlers the entire time without shaking them off!

Likes: playing with stuffies, head scratches, going on walks, socializing with people and enjoying one-on-one time.

His ideal home- any size family, with a yard to explore and all the stuffies to snuggle with.

Fun fact: Alvin can entertain himself with a treat by throwing it up in the air to catch in his mouth or pass it back and forth using his paws.

Fun fact- when Louise first came in the shelter she was scared of everyone because her first owner was not kind to her. But with the help from staff & volunteers Louise learned to trust people again 😍🙏.

🚨OUR LONGEST SHELTER DOG 🚨

💗Louise💗 has spent 332 days in Katy Animal Shelter! 🥹

Last year on March 4th she was picked up with Thelma (left with a rescue in August) after being found in a backyard in Katy. She was initially timid and scared in the shelter environment, but has blossomed into a real sweetheart. We need any help to get a rescue to tag her for an adopter or foster. RESCUES NEED RELIABLE FOSTERS🙏
