⚠️Alert to dog owners feeding Fresh Pet!

Note- We do not sell this product but are posting for those who feed it as it is widely available locally at big box stores and grocery stores!

Freshpet is recalling dog food it says could be contaminated with salmonella.

The company says it was going to destroy this one lot of its "Fresh From the Kitchen Home Cooked Chicken Recipe", but some of it was accidentally shipped to retailers.

There are no reports of injuries yet, but it could make your dog sick.

Dogs with Salmonella infections may be lethargic and have diarrhea or bloody diarrhea, fever and vomiting. Some dogs will have only decreased appetite, fever and abdominal pain. Infected but otherwise healthy dogs can be carriers and infect other animals or humans. The FDA says that if your dog has consumed the recalled product and has these symptoms, please contact your veterinarian.

If you have clean towels, in good condition, you want to donate to help her out…please drop them off at our store. We are donating bulk packs of puppy pads and puppy milk replacer powder to help with their care. It’s hard to determine what breed these puppies are but they are stinking cute! Thank goodness for kind hearted people who step up and help the furry ones who desperately need it. ❤️
