Today is International Day of Veterinary Medicine. Join us in celebrating veterinary professionals around the world for their tireless efforts to improve not only animal health but human health.

They help prevent zoonotic diseases, provide frontline care, and work towards disease eradication. We owe so much to the incredible work of veterinary professionals; without them the world would not only be a less healthy place but a much less compassionate place.

It's veterinary technician week! Our vet techs do more than you might think! They're more than the friendly face that greets you in an exam room. They get patients ready for surgery, draw blood, take x-rays and so much more. Some days they even kangaroo carry your pups while they recover from surgery! Bella Boo got all dressed up for her echocardiogram! An echocardiogram is an ultrasound of the heart. Annual exams allow your veterinarian to assess your pet for signs of heart disease. If signs of disease are present we have an amazing cardiologist that comes out to assess our adorable heart patients. ❤️
