Here are some myths and facts about the upcoming EID tag changeover. After Novemeber 5th, the metal silver Brite tags and orange Bangs tags for cattle will no longer be available.
We know some people are concerned about this change. We encourage you to read the following post and if you have any questions, reach out to the Wyoming Livestock Board.

There will not be a doctor in our Kaycee office October 3rd through the 6th. We will have an on call technician able to set out supplies, answer questions, and book appointments. She will be in the office at random times so please call 307-210-8232 if there is something she can help you with. Thank you for your understanding.

This Friday, September 6th, our Kaycee clinic will be closing at noon and there will not be a veterinarian available through the weekend as Dr. Vondra will be out of town.

We would like to let our area producers know that we are able to request free antibiotics and intranasal respiratory vaccines for cattle and antibiotics for sheep affected by the fires. We just need a rough head count and approximate weights to get the ball rolling.
We understand that everyone is helping everyone is situations like these and may not know to what extent the damage may be yet. Just know we will be here when you need us.

Our Kaycee clinic will be closed all day Friday the 16th and through the weekend. There will be no veterinarian available for emergencies. Please make arrangements to pick up anything you may need before Friday. Enjoy your weekend!

Our Kaycee and Sheridan clinics will both be closed Thursday, July 4th and Friday, July 5th in observance of Independence Day. Doctor availability in Kaycee for emergencies will be limited. We hope all of our clients have a safe and fun holiday with friends and family!

Hauling season is upon us!

With that being said, we'd like to let our clients know things have slowed down with the postal service after recent changes they have made.

We're asking anyone planning trips that need updated testing, such as Coggins for horses, trich for bulls, B. Ovis for rams, etc. to allow extra time for results to get back to us and put on your health papers.

We know sometimes trips can be decided last minute. But right now, overnighting any packages going to the lab costs a minimum of $30 (which is added to the price of your paperwork and testing), so we'd like to avoid that if at all possible. Overnighting is the only guarantee it will get there the next day. If we send it ground, it could sit in a distribution facility for a day or two before getting sent on to the lab. That, on top of the time it takes to run the test, could be a serious delay.

Import requirements vary by state and species, so feel free to call us and we can check them for you. From there we can make an appointment to get the appropriate testing and paperwork done and get you on the road!
