Sage Creek 1 and 2 last weekend- showing 3rd level test 3. Day two scored 68% and won my class! Day one I confused bell for whistle and got thrown off my mental game, scored 62.5 placing 3rd in my class. Much gratitude for Donnette and Sage Creek, thank you for seeing something in me and bringing me into your fold.

Sage Creek 1 and 2 this weekend; Day one, I made a Bell vs Whistle miatake- got discombobulated mentally, and came away with a 62.5 from Axel Steiner. Day two I recovered, scored 68% from Beverly Roger’s, and won my class😃! Showing Third level test 3. Shout out to Sage Creek, what a miracle to show at my own barn, with beautiful arenas, lovely footing, and kind supportive people. 💖🙏⭐️

The horse, rider, coach triangle is sacred. Ride with someone you respect, admire, and feel safe with. Ride with someone you enjoy as a person and who explains things in a way you understand. Stick with them long enough to get what they have to offer, and let them be human. It took me a long time to find Jeremy, I’ve had several wonderful teachers, but he’s certainly one of fhe best. 💖🙏🐴

I specialize in biomechanics and self carriage. Here is a good example as I ride Will at extended trot. Notice how vertical and stable my body stays on the balance point. See how the rein is light, that I am not holding him up and that he does not get heavier in the hand, even in the transition back to collected trot. Will is moving uphill here, lifting shoulders and front end, keeping poll up and nose out to the hand. Will is free to move through his back, while I am in self carriage, I am being easy to carry here.

Sage Creek Short Tour yesterday, happy with my ride at 3-3. Uphill, expressive and calm, but marginal changes brought overall score to 64.75.
