At the Salt Creek Wranglers Horse Show in Lincoln
Team Emersyn& Brookes, Team Arabella&Russell, Team Violet&Macs and Team Therese&Bentley all came out to show.

Highlights:

Arabella and Russell made the final cut and placed 6th in Western Pleasure and made the Final Cut in classes 25 deep in the walk/trot.

Violet and Mac’s made the Final Cut in the walk/trot class and the Final Cut in the western pleasure.

Emersyn and Brookes placed 5th in the horsemanship! Showing in large classes in the English, western and the ranch.

Therese and Bentley showed in the halter placing 4th.

Thank you to Salt Creek Wranglers, Judge Lori Jaixen and all of the show help for a great day.

We had a great day at Nebraska Horse Club Association icebreaker show on Saturday.

Emersyn & Brookes had a very good day and topped it off with a 2nd in English pleasure, horsemanship and a first in reining, way to show!

Arabella & Russell, was near the top in showmanship and horsemanship! Arabella was learning about ranch horses but a switch of horses has turned her into learning about western pleasure.

Violet & Macs had a delightful western pleasure class and it was so fun to watch her progress during the day.

All of the girls tried something new to them during the day.

Margo & Dusty did walk/trot and went into a pattern class. She was all smiles and had such a fun day!

Therese & Dusty ended the day with a first in the ranch riding! So proud of his growth in this class. He is not sure he is a trail horse as the plywood bridge was terrifying, so we have something to work on.

Vince & Russell with Emersyn leading had so much fun trotting and backing Russell.

C**t & Macs with Meemaw leading also had so much fun trotting & backing Macs. It was also his 3rd birthday! He told his Mom he now wants Macs to be his horse.

Barbie foaled out a beautiful baby filly with all of the color!! She is a Dun Grulla with leg barring! We are so pleased with her friendly personality as well🩷🐴.

We had a fantastic day at Ebke Performance Horses during their show! Teams Emersyn and Brookes, Brooke (Margo) and Dusty, Arabella and Russell, Violet and Macs along with Therese and Dusty showed. All three Ebke grandsons showed: Eli and Boom, Vince and Candi, and C**t and Scout. Thank you to everyone that came out!

Come to Ebke Performance Horses May 3rd!

*SAVE THE DATE- May 3, 2025*

We are trying a SPRING Ebke Performance Horses Open Show this year! Concessions will be supplied by the fabulous Tails N Trails 4H Club again. We have High- Point buckles for Walk-Trot, Junior, Senior, and Adult & other great 2nd & 3rd place prizes.

We will also have a tack & clothing sale going on during the show, and classes for the whole family to enjoy! Come enjoy a fun spring day at the farm with the whole family!

We had a great day of riding after the bitter cold weather!

Bentley (Lazy Mover) is in the aisle with all of that sunshine in the stall barn. Therese is pictured with him in our indoor arena.

Meet the McKenzie family who came to Nebraska from Australia!! Trish is Mom and she is pictured on Barbie (Yikes Justa Touch), Isla is on W***y (Major Stormy Sky), Arabella is on Casper (Im in the Rich Class), and Violet is on Macs (Macs Plenty Good) They have been so much fun to ride and train with!!

Caylin McCormick, my barn assistant, who has been with me throughout many years of study at The University of Nebraska at Kearney. She has already recieved her Masters, and is planning to becoming a vet. She is pictured on Russell (Quot Me a Ranger Son).

The horses have survived the snow and negative wind chills🥶💨❄️☃️ Parker is our largest resident at 17’1 hands and Olaf is our smallest (black and white mini). Buddy to Olaf is Sven the grey and white pony.
