The Retreat at Cottonwood is a full service pet boarding facility. We offer over-night and day-boarding, doggie daycare, dog training, a retail area, and so much more! Each dog will be given a raised bed and a sheepskin blanket. We will do our best to make sure your pet is comfortable. Dogs will have the option of staying in a standard room or a suite. Your cat will stay in a three room condo or m

ulti-room suite with separate living, litter, and food areas. Multiple pets from the same household are more than welcome to share a room. A tired dog is a good dog! The Retreat offers open doggie daycare Monday-Friday. Temperament testing is available on Thursdays for new daycare attendees. Training your dog is the best gift you can give to him. Let us help you mold your dog into an enjoyable member of your family. Stop in during regular business hours for a tour or to shop in our retail area. We also have gift certificates available!

The Polite Puppy Class will commence again on January 27th, starting from Week 1! 🐶

If you are interested in enrolling, please do not hesitate to contact us via phone, email, or by visiting in person.

As a reminder, our Polite Puppy Class is designed for puppies aged 8 weeks to 8 months and is held every Monday at 6:15 PM.

With the arrival of the new year, our trainer, Shawna, has returned from her holiday break and is now reopening her schedule for training sessions! ✨

Below, you will find the new start dates and times for her Basic Obedience and Canine Good Citizen (CGC) classes.

Happy Friday! We would like to inform everyone that the retreat will be closed for two days next week in celebration of the holidays. 🎄

Specifically, we will be closed on Tuesday and Wednesday, the 24th and 25th. Normal operating hours will resume on Thursday, the 26th.

It is with EXCITING NEWS that we announce the introduction of a board and train program hosted here at “The Retreat at Cottonwood”. ✨ We are THRILLED to initiate this new program and have created a wait list with 3 LIMITED slots. If this interests you make sure to give us a call to secure a spot for next months schedule! The board and train program will cater to week-long increments, requiring a minimum one-week boarding commitment with extra week add-ons. Our unique approach involves sending dogs home with their owners during weekends to facilitate personal bonding time while allowing ample opportunity to reinforce the training covered during the week. This comprehensive program encompasses not only relaxation for your pet but also training sessions addressing behavioral manners or specific issues at home, coupled with playtime and socialization activities. 🐶 Each week is perfectly designed to offer a blend of educational and enjoyable experiences. As this program is in its initial stages, we will be limiting the number of participants to ensure a high-quality service. We appreciate your patience as we fine-tune this offering.
