⚠️⚠️ATTENTION DAYCARE CUSTOMERS (PLEASE READ THE POST OF ITS ENTIRETY) ⚠️⚠️

Commencing this forthcoming Monday JUNE 24TH 2024, we will introduce a reservation system for our daycare dogs (no more walk-in drop offs!)

This initiative aims to establish a cap on the number of dogs permitted in our daycare area, ensuring optimal safety and maintaining a suitable staff-to-dog ratio.

While we acknowledge that this adjustment may pose some inconvenience, we are committed to ensuring a seamless transition and appreciate your understanding and cooperation.

To make a reservation, kindly contact the retreat via phone (308-455-3188).

Provide your name, your dog's name, and the specific days you wish to reserve for your dog's daycare during the upcoming week/weeks.

It is essential to follow this procedure to ensure fair access to daycare services and prevent any instances of no-shows.

YOU MAY CALL AS OF TODAY TO START MAKING RESERVATIONS ✨

In the event that no-shows persist, a no-show policy has been implemented.

Please ensure attendance at your reserved slots or notify us a day in advance to cancel to prevent any fees associated with no-shows.

This is the existing system that will be operational.

Kindly monitor our social media platforms or inquire with our staff for any updates in case modifications are made to the reservation system as we are doing our best to make this as simple as possible for everyone involved.

Meet the fabulous Dani from our front desk crew! A fun fact about Dani is that she has always had a dog since she was little. Giving her the ultimate title of “Animal Lover!” 🤍

Dani is the proud pet parent of two lively Australian Shepherds, Duke and Bandit who are a young age of 1 and 8 years old!

Did you know that bandit got their name from rocking a stylish black eye patch above their eye? How cool is that!

Bandit is a furry little explorer who proudly parades his outdoor finds through the doggy door like a true showman!

Duke and Bandit aren't big on snacks, but oh boy, do they go bonkers for their chew toys! Their idea of a good time involves a thrilling game of fetch with a tennis ball. However, there's a tiny snag - they can't resist turning baseball caps into chew toys! 🎾🐶

Today marks a significant event with the solar eclipse. While this occurrence is undoubtedly thrilling, it is crucial to consider the well-being of our beloved pets. Below, you will find essential tips to ensure their safety during this afternoon's eclipse! 🐶☀️

•Keep pets indoors
•If you’re on your daily walk make sure your furry friends are leashed!
•Try and ensure your pets don’t look up at the sun
•Watch out for and respond to stress signs
•If needed use distractions! (If you’d like some help on distraction ideas please reach out!)

Additionally, it is common to observe your beloved pets preparing for their nighttime routine as totality approaches.

As for everyone else make sure you’re using those solar eclipse glasses to keep your eye sight safe! 👀

This week, we've got a special spotlight on our team member, Emmalee! She’s one of our many who work inside of our daycare center! 🐶

A fun fact about Emmalee is she has never traveled outside of the US. ✨

Emmalee is the proud fur parent of Leo and Taali, her dynamic duo who go by the cute aliases Buddy Boy and Pajamba. Emalee’s furry pals are 16 & 5 years old. One of which is a mix of chihuahua and terrier, and then there's an energetic boxer/pit in the mix! 🐾

These two adore munching on anything meaty and snoozing like pros during their downtime, earning them the title of ultimate cuddle bugs. However, their trash-digging escapades are a bit of a hiccup. While they haven't mastered any tricks yet, they sure know how to get into turbo mode with their zoomies! 🐶

Both of these lovebugs were rescued and have been pampered and adored by Emmalee ever since! 🤍

We are thrilled to announce an exciting addition to our dog training class options! 🐶🐾

We are now offering a new class option known as relaxation training.

This course presents a structured training regimen designed to help leash manners in dogs, fostering relaxation during routine activities/walks and building more confidence and a wonderful bond between you and your dog! ✨

Prior to enrollment, we kindly request that both you and your dog have completed a puppy/beginner class setting. This prerequisite aims to enhance your role as the handler and reinforce the fundamental etiquettes acquired in your previous training sessions.

Erin's Pets:
Meet Queenie, the 5-year-old mixed breed pup, and Venus, Erin's 3-year-old pastel banana ball python! All paws and coils on deck for these two cuties!

Erin adopted Queenie from the Beauties and Beasts in Wichita, Kansas!

Queenie owes her name to the shelter, while Venus got her celestial title from resembling the planet.

Queenie is a speed racer who adores cuddles. When she's not zipping after a laser, she's the ultimate cozy bug.
