🚨 Important Reminder! 🚨 The 4th of July festivities typically kick off this weekend. Don’t wait! Call us today to get the medication your furry friends need to make the holiday less scary. Let’s keep them calm and comfortable during the fireworks!

Ever wondered what we see under the microscope when we tell you your pet has ear mites? Here’s a nice creepy crawly video of them! Facts: ear mites are seen more commonly in cats than in dogs. They live in the ear canal of your pet and they are so small that they can’t usually be seen with the naked eye. We diagnose them by swabbing your pets ear and looking at it under the microscope. Signs to watch out for are excessive ear scratching, fresh/dried blood in the ear canal, and coffee ground looking ear exudate. If left untreated long enough ear mites can cause dizziness, head tilts and even lead to your pet becoming deaf. Luckily there are many different treatment options available.
